Is there really a súp natzz? Where is his restaurant?

If i remember rightly from the extras on the DVD - One of the writers knew a súp place in NY where the owner was very picky about who he served, not really a Nazi but highly strung and the episode was based on him. Apparently the cửa hàng was then visited bởi những người hâm mộ of the hiển thị and the owner got very angry about people thinking he was the 'soup nazi' and threatened the writer because of it........maybe he was a Nazi ;-)

Yes there is a real súp nazi and now has a number of franchises across America.
