Does it mean something that MW is not in the cast? I hope this is a Luddy-free episode...

Hmmm.."discussions of relationships & regret,"...hope Cuddy has time during the lockdown to deliver a line on that topic for us...starting with, "regrets?..yes, I've had a few, especially spending so much time with this guy who wears horrible socks."

Well, hope "no Luddy" doesn't mean "no Cuddy"... Cause it's not so sure after few last episodes :/

@xxmelisaxx - Cuddy will be in the episode because she's starting the search for the lost kid. But we don't know if we get any Huddy-moment...

Hm... I'm just happy that no "Franka Potente" and no "Michael Weston" are on the guest list. The things that were flying around about this ep, it made my head spin...

"Personal lives, relationships and regrets" sound good to me - perhaps at least we'll get to hear House saying something about her, which is something, after all...

I agree with you Delia, I hope it won't be too much Thirteen or Taub personal and relationship stuff. I don't really care about them...

PC, i enjoy Taub, but a bit less of his personal life than we got in the last ep. But at the hospital, i enjoy Taub and Chase the most, they are hilarious, spontaneous, unpredictable - very interesting characters. Thirteen - yes, fully agree, i don't care at all. Foreman too - i hope with all my heart no Boreteen will ever hit us again.

At this point, the total lack of Huddy makes me so impatient and frustrated, that even the (i bet) VERY interesting Chase/Cameron meeting doesn't rise my interest much. I mean, OK, i got it, we focused on everybody's personal life, we disected every major relationship on the show, except the one i really care about. ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoy him too but we get enough of his personal life in the past episode.
Something popped in my mind: the new Wilson-ex-wife plot can be dangerous for Huddy. I'm very excited about Wilson's relationship but it can take away 'personal life screen time' from Huddy.

What "Huddy personal life screen time"? Did we get any of that this season?:(((((

Pardon my bitterness. I know what you're saying: under normal circumstances (last seasons), each episode or string of episodes focuses on one or two personal relationships. And usually, it's a Big Character (House, Wilson, Cuddy) plus a Smaller Character (one of the ducklings). So if we get Wilson and Sam a lot (and it so appears that we will), then we should get less of the personal/romantic lives of House and Cuddy, because they are in the same Character League...

But this season, the complete lack of Huddy makes for a HUGE imbalance, so i have no idea how this will be played. What i am (SADLY) sure of is that it will be a delay between the beginning of Wilson's relationship and whatever progress on Huddy. They would never throw that much romance at us all over the place simultaneously.

Do you think that House will play the same game he played with Amber, in the battle for Wilson's custody? I think he'll be afraid of doing that, but he'll be immensely hurt by the Hilson "breakup". Do you think he'd go nuts and go really far in this battle against Sam and Wilson? Like, maybe, sleeping with her???????

Sleeping with her? NO!!!! I don't think so. If he's sleeping with her, it would destroy Hilson and I think House don't want that. I hope that now he is more mature.
I think there will be battles for Wilson's custody although they did this with Amber and I don't want a replay. I hope they can do it in a unique way and it won't look like Sam is Amber's replacement. And as far this point we don't know anything about Sam's character. At least I don't know how is she. The only thing I know that every ex-wives hate House so I'm counting on some interesting House-Sam scenes.

@playingcold - yah, she will, but the question is: how long? Even if there will be no Huddy-moments, I want few Cuddy ones! Not like in the last episode.

Me too! I miss her so much. I hope in the remaining episodes the writers will compensate for the lack of Cuddy- and Huddy-scenes. (But no Lucas please!!!)

Me too. Lately, because of the disconnect with House, it feels like Cuddy is on another show within the show. We're sure to "see" her in Lockdown, so at least there is a chance to learn something new. A Huddy moment? If not directly..then indirectly.

@PC..I feel the same about the Hilson/Amber "replay." What little I have heard, it seems that House will be too busy fighting with Sam to make love. I doubt that's the angle they will play with. Probably Sam is there to turn Hilson upside down. Maybe instead of delaying Huddy, this upcoming "Sam stuff" will cause House to seek out Cuddy as a friend. Wilson is still "something" they share in common, a fairly safe subject matter for them to talk about..bond over.

You made a good point here and I hope you're right. Sam can turn Hilson upside down but I don't want an Amber 2.0. If the fight for Wilson strengthens the Huddy-friendship (at this point I'm satisfied with friendly bonding too) then Sam will be my new favorite character! :)))

Yes, Blue, that's my bet too. That House will be very hurt by his "breakup" with Wilson and he'll reach out to Cuddy, or she will jump in and offer him support. I'm hoping that both will happen - after all, Wilson will ask Cuddy to hire Sam at the hospital. I hope that will bring House and Cuddy in some emotional scenes, debating Wilson, Sam and House's loneliness. Perhaps that's the moment when Cuddy sees the emotional changes in him, if he will show his pain and affection for Wilson in a way she never saw him do.

But hey... This season would have had soooooooooooo many moments when Huddy emotional intimacy and support would have been possible and necessary, but they all passed by in such an unprecedented manner, that i wonder whether making these little scenarios and building up our hopes like this have any point at all...

In the previous seasons, it was so natural - whenever House had a difficult case, Cuddy was bound to step in at some point. Whenever he had a personal dilemma, she was there. Whenever he was about to make a difficult professional decision (like in "Black Hole", deciding for an unconventional diagnosis method), she was there. And i could go on and on and on. This separation feels so unnatural, it just makes me go up the walls...

Yeap, Blue, it feels like she is in another dimension...

It was so odd that they didn't show the scene when House asked for Cuddy's approval!!! I didn't find any reason not to show it. It wasn't only an unconventional diagnosis method but a 'beta-version'...

I'll be very sad for House when they show the Sam/Wilson but I'm also excited for it too. It sounds like Sam will be a character I like and they've made her a doctor so that if they want they can keep her around. I like the ideas of Sam being the one who left Wilson and starting his long line of bad marriages. I love when House is jealous of Wilson and Cuddys art gallery "date". Cuddy "We're going to a gallery-we're not getting married!" House "He always marries them!"
