XD XD XD XD XD Good one, bluehue!
"Personal lives, relationships and regrets" sound good to me - perhaps at least we'll get to hear House saying something about her, which is something, after all...
At this point, the total lack of Huddy makes me so impatient and frustrated, that even the (i bet) VERY interesting Chase/Cameron meeting doesn't rise my interest much. I mean, OK, i got it, we focused on everybody's personal life, we disected every major relationship on the show, except the one i really care about. ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Something popped in my mind: the new Wilson-ex-wife plot can be dangerous for Huddy. I'm very excited about Wilson's relationship but it can take away 'personal life screen time' from Huddy.
Pardon my bitterness. I know what you're saying: under normal circumstances (last seasons), each episode or string of episodes focuses on one or two personal relationships. And usually, it's a Big Character (House, Wilson, Cuddy) plus a Smaller Character (one of the ducklings). So if we get Wilson and Sam a lot (and it so appears that we will), then we should get less of the personal/romantic lives of House and Cuddy, because they are in the same Character League...
But this season, the complete lack of Huddy makes for a HUGE imbalance, so i have no idea how this will be played. What i am (SADLY) sure of is that it will be a delay between the beginning of Wilson's relationship and whatever progress on Huddy. They would never throw that much romance at us all over the place simultaneously.
Do you think that House will play the same game he played with Amber, in the battle for Wilson's custody? I think he'll be afraid of doing that, but he'll be immensely hurt by the Hilson "breakup". Do you think he'd go nuts and go really far in this battle against Sam and Wilson? Like, maybe, sleeping with her???????
I think there will be battles for Wilson's custody although they did this with Amber and I don't want a replay. I hope they can do it in a unique way and it won't look like Sam is Amber's replacement. And as far this point we don't know anything about Sam's character. At least I don't know how is she. The only thing I know that every ex-wives hate House so I'm counting on some interesting House-Sam scenes.
@PC..I feel the same about the Hilson/Amber "replay." What little I have heard, it seems that House will be too busy fighting with Sam to make love. I doubt that's the angle they will play with. Probably Sam is there to turn Hilson upside down. Maybe instead of delaying Huddy, this upcoming "Sam stuff" will cause House to seek out Cuddy as a friend. Wilson is still "something" they share in common, a fairly safe subject matter for them to talk about..bond over.

You made a good point here and I hope you're right. Sam can turn Hilson upside down but I don't want an Amber 2.0. If the fight for Wilson strengthens the Huddy-friendship (at this point I'm satisfied with friendly bonding too) then Sam will be my new favorite character! :)))
But hey... This season would have had soooooooooooo many moments when Huddy emotional intimacy and support would have been possible and necessary, but they all passed by in such an unprecedented manner, that i wonder whether making these little scenarios and building up our hopes like this have any point at all...
In the previous seasons, it was so natural - whenever House had a difficult case, Cuddy was bound to step in at some point. Whenever he had a personal dilemma, she was there. Whenever he was about to make a difficult professional decision (like in "Black Hole", deciding for an unconventional diagnosis method), she was there. And i could go on and on and on. This separation feels so unnatural, it just makes me go up the walls...
Yeap, Blue, it feels like she is in another dimension...
It was so odd that they didn't show the scene when House asked for Cuddy's approval!!! I didn't find any reason not to show it. It wasn't only an unconventional diagnosis method but a 'beta-version'...
