From what I took out of it, he got it up, he just didn't finish her. Evidence: "Sorry, it's hard to pace yourself when you've been thinking about it for 10 hours straight."

Makes it sound like he got so excited that he couldn't "pace" himself, and ended things a tad too quickly...

I'm hoping that is a sneak peek at the theme. Notice how the episodes always seem to have a theme to them? I'm hoping the theme for 6x14 (or maybe a sub-theme) is to point out Lucas' shortcomings. Or at least contrast him to House.

Oh MAN!! I am rolling here. First, the begining with Rachel crying and trying to take a shower and all that...I have LIVED that and I totally identify. The second part..that is just flat out laughable. I am ready to cry here with laughter over that. No WAY does he get Cuddy.

I loved when she plopped Rachel down in the shower with her and tried to dry both their hair at once with the hairdryer. I also loved the blue squishy thing to decongest her nose, it was so true to life :)

And yes, it's possible. That girl I used to date said that one time she was with her ex and he lasted seriously about 5 seconds. She said she had no sooner "settled down on top of him" and he was finished. So yes, it can happen in the real world.

And, speaking from experience, it's highly mental. Which reinforces what Lucas said. If you've been thinking about it nonstop for hours on end, it's not gonna take much to push you over the top.

BH I think this is the Luddy sex scene we were so worried about....they have been lying to us all along making us think the sex happened in the shower, which is not. Besides, yesterday interview to I don't remember who right now, said Lucas had just 2 minutes in the ep, although people thought they were the worst, longer two minutes ever....see a double meaning? XD Love the writers....BTW who are they for this ep?

Like I said before, this brings an irrepressible smile to my face for some reason! If I was forced to watch a Luddy scene, this is what I would watch. And, I hope this isn't too bold, but I am taking it as a good sign that the writers are using precious airtime to reinforce the concept that Lucas is "inadequate" for Cuddy!

Agree, that's what I was thinking too. It's so obvious: they show the clock, and Cuddy's face at the end.

It makes me so sad that Lucas is pinning Cuddy against the wall of the very same spot where House kissed Cuddy.

OY! Blue and LW! Who on earth could blame a Huddy fan for fearing the worst just the second after they got smth great?... It's never ok with you guys. It's either i'm too optimistic and getting my hopes too high up, or i'm the kill joy... Wait! Could that mean i'm bipolar or something? I couldn't tackle the bear...

Yes, i agree - so far, so good. I think that was the shower scene they have been promoting as if we got to see Lisa full front naked & the Luddy sex scene that we so feared. And i will not even go into the subject of what happens later on, ok? There. I'm just gonna say, they are evil geniuses, the way they throw only unimportant spoilers at us, presented like major stuff.

What i am VERY happy about is that i'm starting to see the beginning of the end for Luddy. This is why:
1. Lucas lied to her about the pranks he pulled
2. he is still soooo insecure in regard to House, which means that he is not at all more secure about his relationship with her
3. they did not hurry to find another appartment, so the rush to move in was not passion, but just the spur of the moment on Cuddy's part
4. Lucas seems far more upset about the condo than Cuddy, which makes sense, since the condo Wilson "stole" for House was more Lucas's dream than Cuddy's. Buying it and moving in together would have meant that she is really comitted to him, which i now doubt is true.
5. when Lisa kissed him in her office, it was because she wanted to shut him up (and who could blame her, i am getting nauseated at his speeches)
6. bad sex means that one of the reasons she's with him is off the table, and i bet she cannot help draw the parallel to her supposedly magical experience with House:)
7. he did not know what her big day at the hospital is about - when she said to herself "you can do this", he had no idea what she was talking about. She had obviously been preparing for it, it was something that bothered her greatly, it was something she was dead worried and emotional about. But she had not shared it with Lucas...
So i'm gonna go big on this and say that a second reason for her to be with him is off the table - she cannot or will not fully connect to him emotionally and intelectually, so again, what's the point in staying with a boytoy who's "there for her" if he's neither much of a toy, nor much of spiritual partner?:)

Excellent points DB! I totally agree with you on everything! I have thought exactly the same things on to the same events.....Every piece of the puzzle lead to the same thing: the beginning of the end for Luddy. XD Huddy kingdom come XD

Well said DB. I think there have been a number of signals in the past episode or so that are starting to indicate that Luddy is starting to draw to a close. Or it's at least on thin ice. Bottom line, the illusion that Cuddy has been living is starting to fade. My new prediction is that we won't see major Huddy this season, but we will be left with a MAJOR cliffy at the end of S6. Like House finally asks Cuddy on a formal date in the closing seconds of S6.

Ever see the season finale for Season 3 of "The Office"? That's exactly what happens. Pam is going on about how Jim is leaving for good and as she is wishing him well. The camera suddenly pans over as Jim bursts in the door and asks her on a date. She accepts, the camera pans back over to an absolutely beaming Pam, and then - CLOSING CREDITS.

God, how cool would that be??? I mean, the wait for season 7 would suck the big one, but at least I'd be happy during the wait.

Hm, LW... I think that season 6 finale will be as dramatic as the past two season finales. My bet is, something bad happens (there was a spoiler earlier this season about Thirteen and her Huntington's, and in that interview Aussiello took Olivia and Peter, he asked if the Huntington issue will be readdressed, since it was left out for a long time, and she said yes - so perhaps there's something to it - not that i wish Thirteen bad, for God's sake, i'm just saying it's possible).

Anyway, my point is that i feel like Huddy will be building up - they will slowly get emotionally closer, start opening up to each other more, become aware of the intimacy and trust, and Cuddy will gradually realize that he has become more functional and capable of giving her something real & that her felings for him never faded - so when the season finale hits and takes everybody by storm, she will be there for him fully. I can absolutely picture final scenes in the final episode, in which they show those close cut images of what everybody's doing, and they show House and Cuddy intimately together, like in tender and meaningful scenes (asleep together, in the bathtub together, just sitting together, embraced, quietly, etc etc).

The date thing - i'm sorry, i cannot really picture it. First of all, it would raise the question of when they pick up season 7 - a date is not something dramatic enough to be played as in "Broken", picking up the time frame right after the previous season ended. And to start season 7 with them together, a few months into their relationship, would completely suck, because we wouldn't get to see it happening.

Well, we are of course talking nonsense. It there is one thing i would bet my head on, that is i will never ever guess a House season finale:)))) They are absolutely evil in their brilliant ability to surprise and shock.
