Probably, but fortunately for Harry the Sorting Hat took pity on him. XD
But like people have already mentioned, Slytherin wouldn't really suit his character. So he might've been a bit of an oddball if he'd been put in there.
Probably. It was the house the Sorting Hat wanted to place him in and not knowing anything about all the different houses, I think Harry would have just accepted the hat's choice.
No, because I'm pretty sure he didn't want to be in that house after when he first met Draco. Besides, I think he has all the qualities of a Gryffindor.
Harry made his mind up about Slytherin house before he even met Ron. He's the one that brought it up to Hagrid, not the other way around. And Harry was thinking 'not Slytherin' before the Sorting Hat had even mentioned him being good there.
In the end, I don't think the Hat would have put him in Slytherin. Harry is a Gryffindor, through and through, and that wasn't going to change just because he hadn't heard anything bad about Slytherin.
