To be honest, I'm not delusional that think it will win every categories, I just wish it will get nominate and maybe win some technical awards. The movie doesn't need it, but it will be nice if it get a recognition from Academy

well, i will conceed on the fact that the film by itself did not, but i strongly believe daniel radcliffe and alan rickman deserve it. i mea, these actors spend half their time trying to imagine the effects cause they are not added in. this by it self is not an easy tak, and they do it so incredibly well.

That was harsh! I could care less about the Oscars though, never watched one before so really do not know what all the hype about them is! Haha

Nothing good ever wins. Award shows aren't about quality they're about popularity.

I actually agree with this. (Especially the part about Alan.) The movies are great, yeah. Wonderful. But Oscar worthy? Not by a long shot. Not even all the actors are Oscar worthy. The only exceptions are Alan, Maggie, Julie, and Helena. Occasionally David and Gary.

@zanhar: The King's Speech wasn't good? Helena isn't good? Because TKS won four Oscars and Helena has gotten two. The Oscars aren't about popularity -- that's why popular movies/actresses/actors/directors/screenwriters don't often get Oscars. They have to be of amazing quality to get them, or even be nominated.
