I find the homophobia on the Green Day section of this website to be appalling and quite surprising given the fact that they are so upfront and open about their sexuality, and given the band's stance on intolerance in general (here's a hint : they don't like it).

First of all it is an indisputable FACT that Billie Joe and Tre are both bi. The fact that they are/were married and have children does not mean that they aren't bi. I am personally getting tired of seeing all the questions about this and everybody arguing about it.

Secondly, I don't think you can really call yourself a fan of this band if you are homophobic enough to say things like "ewww" in regard to their sexuality.

I'm just here to say that where they put their dicks has NOTHING TO DO with their music; if you are actually a fan of Green Day as musicians then their sexuality is irrelevant except possibly as an interesting side note.
