I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Disney Reveals Updated 'Moana' & 'Zootopia' Logos at CinemaCon
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
At the 2015 CinemaCon, Disney revealed its upcoming slate of live-action and animated films, which also gave us our first official look at the new
logos. The above image (courtesy of ComicBook.com) shows that the title treatments for
logo was an ombré red and orange with subtle diagonal stripes. The new logo has an entirely new color scheme of green and teal ombré. The font has also changed as well. You can see the change below:
popping up all over the Internet for a while, Disney never released an official logo until CinemaCon (despite the fake logo and the new official logo’s striking similarities). The
logo has a monotone tan coloring. The font is a handwritten style script, with the “o” taking on the swirl motif we’ve seen in the concept art. This logo has a similar feel to the
While the release of these logos is not a huge update, it’s an update nonetheless! Personally, I love the new
logo, as it feels fresh and modern (and those colors are simply divine!). That being said, the old logo wasn’t bad in the first place either. And finally getting an official
I think nixing the line from beneath Moana would be better, but I like the font.
I prefer the old Moana logo, but the new Zootopia logo looks much better!
I agree, plus that swirled o… Aren’t they just trying to make it too much like the Frozen logo?
Uh no. The swirl is shown in the concept art as the symbol on the sail. That symbol is a possible key point in the film, hence its appearance in the logo and the concept art.
I can clearly see all the mulah Disney will make with these. Too bad 90% of these aren’t original works tho.
Love both new logos. The Moana logo is feeling more Naruto with that circular symbol lol.
Its hilarious to see how many people are confused by the fact that Disney somehow distributes DreamWorks films. Spielberg stated before that he intends to change the name of the company so people won’t mix it up with the more popular DreamWorks Animation. Let’s hope he do that quickly coz people are still confused and think Disney owns DreamWorks somehow.
Damn, I see that Toy Story 4 movie is still happening.
Zootopia is poised to be a colorful, animal movie. Moana on the other hand is more in line with Brave. So I think both title logos were appropriate. If only Moana’s logo stood out even more…
Forgive me if this has been known for a while, but YESSSSS.
Yeah, Disney recently announced that they were gonna be a part of its production.
