*Yes, I know some princesses don't fit these requirements, but they are often said not to deserve to be in the line-up, and for reasons included in the poll. You can take that into account or ignore it when you chose.*
A note on Sleeping Beauty: IT DID NOT BOMB AT THE BOX OFFICE. It didn't make the most money that year, but it absolutely did not bomb. It didn't make back its budget because they blew it all animating one scene, and we all know how detailed and intricate the animation is in all of Sleeping Beauty, so they clearly didn't scale back after that scene.
The others are obviously VERY important, and while this is of utmost importance as well, the others are at the foundation of importance for a DP.

This is very hard to choose between this and box office success, but the film has to be known at least which is shown in box office. I'm not too sure on this though. Glad this is the top 4.

Being good film and succeeding box office are not same thing. Just like rhythmicmagic said.
