I know Elsa isn't real - but I still want to wish her a Happy Birthday.
Today is December 21st, The Winter Solstice; which according to Jennifer lee is Elsa's birthday.
Because I'm such a dedicated người hâm mộ of the movie and the character, I have decided to write an bài viết about the fan-arts people have made about her.
bạn see, back in October of 2014, when I became a người hâm mộ of Elsa, one of the things that interested me the most about her were all of the dedicated and beautiful fan-arts made about her. A good chunk of the time, they're featuring both Elsa and Anna. Other times, they feature the entire cast. However, this time, I'll be including fan-arts that focuses...

Princess Elena of Avalor. Many people are already crying out for her, loving her, loving her for the diversity she brings to the DP line...

And I just don't see the fuss.

Don't get me wrong, I do want proper representation (yes, i do, actually, even though the most cynical of bạn won't believe it). What I don't want is tokenism, a character that has no personality beyond what is defined for them- their skin color/sexuality/etc. It's like if Disney made a fat princess whom her whole personality revolved around food, hoặc a bisexual princess who went around having crushes on everybody and being described...

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time yêu thích Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just tình yêu all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

Yesterday morning, when I looked up information for Frozen's sequel,I found something that baffled my mind beyond belief. It was an article, which stated that Idina Menzel herself,is a supporter for making Elsa a lesbian and giving her a girlfriend.
Where the hell do I even begin with this idea...? Well, let's start with what my reaction towards it was.
When I first saw this yesterday,I was both sad and furious.Even when I had class in the morning,I couldn't shake this out of my head.I think this is even worse than that time they đã đưa ý kiến they're going to hiển thị a thêm playful side of Elsa!
Before we...

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As bạn may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the tác giả of The Phantom of the Opera is bởi Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than bạn Dream It scene...

Years have gone bởi and the Tremaine's had been blessed with two little girls. The elder daughter was named Drizella, after her late grandmother, the Lady Drizella Tremaine. She had curly brown hair, dark eyes, a pointy nose, thin red lips, and wore green a lot with a big blue boy in her hair. She wasn't very pretty but she wasn't ugly either, she was only plainly pretty. She resembled her late grandmother and a little bit from her mother. She also was also very much like her grandmother because of her snobbish attitude and tình yêu for the thêm superficial things in life. However, she didn't inherit...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This bài viết is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

I think having Những người bạn in life gives it a great lift, makes it living worthwhile as much as tình yêu does. Without friendship, life would have been such a drag. They are the best form of relationship adding so much in our lives - fun, comfort, support and even the đắng, cay đắng truth for our better future. I tình yêu the kind of confidence Những người bạn brings in me and make me strong to do and be what and who I want to be.

So, as much as Disney princess phim chiếu rạp are about tình yêu stories and happily ever afters, I tình yêu the strong underflow of friendship that is always there in each of the movies. I tình yêu seeing the...

Okay so some of bạn might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this bài viết but I still didn't want the tension hoặc drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" danh sách without offending anyone, I didn't write that bài viết and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an tổng thể attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do tình yêu the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

 12 Season Color Wheel
12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus hoặc attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her màu hồng, hồng dress. I have also read many các bình luận debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. màu hồng, hồng Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came...

 Astrological Zodiac Signs
Astrological Zodiac Signs
Okay so I have seen some các bài viết (outside of this site) with "Disney Princess tử vi Signs" but I always feel like they are inaccurate, most likely made bởi people who are not as big DP những người hâm mộ as the people here. I also think they assign the DPs to specific tử vi signs based on their image rather than the substance of the character (i.e. Making Ariel a Pisces just because she's a mermaid hoặc Merida a Sagittarius just because she loves archery.) That being said, I used to tình yêu tử vi when I was a teenager, as I thought it was very neat and I have always loved the stars. I had a phase...

I loved my childhood, it was fun and crazy and there were no responsibilities but to study and to play. Sometimes i wish i could de-grow sometimes, if there's a word like that in any dictionary and be a child again. I tình yêu being an adult too - freedom to make my own decisions, doing things the way i wanted and of course spending my own hard-earned money (haha). But i loved my childhood even more, the best part was not having any complex emotions to resolve.

I was just going over my photographs with my brother and we laughed and laughed till our ribs cracked coz we were looking absolutely ridiculous!...

The content in this bài viết is rated PG-13 for mentioning horror-thematic elements though no explicit details are given.

So I was inspired bởi anukriti2409's link and was inspired to do my own, especially since I knew Halloween was coming up! các điểm thưởng to link for her bài viết as it was actually what inspired me to want to do "themed" articles.

This scene is so sad yet so beautifully animated and I couldn't resist putting this one on here since I Mất tích my grandmother just a few days ago, but even before that this has been one of the most beautiful scenes in the movie aswell as...

If the Disney Princesses were Housewives on Wisteria Lane, which house would be theirs? [If bạn are a Desperate Housewives fan, I included who lived there from the hiển thị if anyone did.]

1. Snow White: 4350

This house is a nice beige color, between white (her skin) and yellow (her skirt). It has a gazebo style balcony that fits perfectly for her and her prince to dance around and sing to each other in. [Martha Huber/Felicia Tillman/Andrew VandeKamp]

2. Cinderella: 4354

This house is a beautiful big blue house, just like her beautiful big blue(ish) dress. It's like a palace but still with...

Hi everyone! I recently learned about the Bechdel Test from a friend and have been wanting to write this bài viết ever since. This test is, at its core, an analysis of how women are portrayed in được ưa chuộng culture. It reveals how much women tend to revolve around men in films, books, etc. To pass the test, a film (or any other work of fiction) must meet three requirements: the film must (1) have at least two named female characters (2) who talk to each other (3) about something other than a man. It seems so simple, right? Unfortunately a surprising number of films fail in at least one of these...

Ah yes. Merchandise. Money, in other words. I adore the Disney princesses. They are all unique, and have good qualities. Some are even a little complex and the majority are at least decent role models. That's not how Disney markets them. Well, unless their name is Anna hoặc Elsa. For the first 11 princess, they are downgraded into sparkle obsessed girls that look nothing like they did in their original film. Great princesses are forgotten in merchandise as well. The whole system is downright awful. For the Nữ hoàng băng giá sisters, Disney markets them as "I don't need a man". They tried that with Merida...

11. Prince
The Prince from Snow White comes in last place, can't say I'm stunned. At that time, Disney animators haven't mastered drawing male characters yet so I'm guessing what's underneath isn't HD quality either. He's also quite feminine looking, petite frame with soft edges. No worries though, Snow White loves his man for his huuuuuuuge tim, trái tim :)

10. Charming
Nope, still not quite there with drawing men. Charming...

We all know the step-sister from Lọ lem that ends up reforming in the sequels. However, many people seem to have criticisms about her because they feel that she shouldn't have been forgiven bởi Cinderella, there was nothing to hiển thị that she deserved to be redeemed, and that it's ridiculous that she got to be redeemed but Drizella didn't. First of all, I think I need to explain where this idea of Công chúa Anastasia reforming came from. In the original Charles Perrault version of Cinderella, Cinderella's real name was actually Ella. When she became a servant she would sleep bởi the fireplace to keep...
