It may be the middle of fall, but Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas already gave fans something to do next summer. The two singers are teaming up to co-headline 
“The most important thing is taking the show on the road and getting to share this experience with all the fans that have supported this music for the past, you know, couple of years,” Lovato said during a Monday appearance on
The “Jealous” singer added: “Demi and I were business partners and, obviously, have a long history of being friends, but the chief for us was about living in this moment, taking a step out individually over the last year and a half, two years, growing with our fans, and saying if there’s ever a time to do it, it’s now, to come together and do this tour.”

The 44-date arena tour kicks off June 24 at Florida’s BB&T Center and ends Sept. 17 in Los Angeles. The pair hit the road together in the past when Lovato joined the Jonas Brothers on their 2010 summer tour. The run of shows featured the cast of Disney Channel’s
, in which Lovato starred alongside Jonas and his two older brothers. The
star also worked behind the scenes on Lovato’s 2014
Oct. 16, and the record has already shot to No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Jonas dropped his latest single “Levels” in August and has plans to release an album in early 2016.
