Hmm. Interesting. And kind of silly, if you ask me.

First of all:

"Biblical passages taken out of context have been used to justify such things as slavery, the inferior status of women, and the persecution of religious minorities.”"

That's actually true. It's not really opinion. It's fact. I can quote you the passages they're alluding to if you don't believe me.

So is this an issue because the "religion" it's "favoring" is a non-Christian one, or because they're focusing on Christianity as, on the whole, being against gays?

As far as I'm concerned, it's just information. Rather than removing it, add to it. If they're upset with the information being supplied and "favoring one religious group over another," then rather than taking that support away, add support and alternative views from other standpoints. Shouldn't this be about students gathering all the knowledge they can and making their own decision?

Sheesh. I don't think this is unconstitutional, I think it's ridiculous. Don't censor information (as from what I read, that's what most of this is: not opinion, information) because it's biased, add more information to help students see both sides of the issue. This whole affair with federal judges getting involved is just silly if you ask me.

Doesn't this violate the first amendment? You know, free speech?
