I think everywhere is "geek friendly" it's just about finding the places in the city. Most things are very underground unknown about stuff (although in America they have plenty of well known conventions)

well i live in england but i know new york had atleast 2 stonkingly good comic shops but tbh i think you can find one place that sells comics in every city (apart from were i live for some stupid and infuriating reason)
