Okay...so I can't guarentee that this doesn't have flaws, but hopefully part C is passable. ^^
So, this is obviously about what Zuko and Katara have in common. I managed to come up with a lot thêm things than I thought I would put down, so this is long. Even as a Zutarian, I surprised myself with how much I came up with. ^^

C: Things in Common

    Intro: Some things that Zuko and Katara have in common are clear in the show. Though other things are hard to find. In order to find these things, we have to look at scenes at different angles and analyze the hiển thị a little closer (and I know a lot of Zutarians are known for over-analyzing, but we can’t help it! :) )

1. Their Moms- Both of their moms did everything they could to protect their child, and they took the consequences for it. Actually, while I was nghề viết văn “2” in Katara’s section, I noticed something. When Zuko went looking for his mom, she was already gone, right? Does that sentence sound familiar to you? Katara in “The Southern Raiders” said, “But when we got there the man was gone… and so was she.” Zuko can say this line too, in another way. That same night his mother left, his grandfather died. So, instead, Zuko could say, “But when I got there my mother was gone… and so was he (his grandfather).”

2. They both got burned- Zuko, obviously, got burned on his face bởi his father. Katara got burned too, except unlike Zuko’s burn, this was accidental. Aang, in the episode “The Deserter”, was playing with ngọn lửa, chữa cháy not carefully and burned Katara’s hands. The only reason why she doesn’t have a scar now is because she healed herself with her waterbending before it could get that bad.

3. They both acted like spirits- Zuko was the Blue Spirit, and Katara was the Painted Lady. They were diễn xuất like spirits for different reasons, but when bạn think about it, it’s almost the same purpose. The first time Zuko was the Blue Spirit he DISGUISED himself so he can HELP Aang. Katara was the Painted Lady to DISGUISE herself to HELP a village.

4. They were both involved in a prison break to get somebody out- Katara got herself arrested to break Haru out of Prison. Zuko got himself arrested to break Suki and Chit Sang out of prison. They both eventually succeeded.

5. Even though this isn’t exactly what they “have in common”, I have to point out that Katara is like the mother figure of the group, and Zuko is like the father figure. Like a mom, Katara looks after her friends, she cooks, she scolds them if she doesn’t like what they’re doing, she gets bossy like a mom, she also encourages her Những người bạn and comforts them when they need it. Like a father, Zuko encourages Aang to work harder at what he’s doing (firebending); he also encourages him to keep going onward (like in “The Firebending Masters” when Aang wanted to back out); he reassures Aang; he makes the whole group trà (I suppose in a way, helping Katara with dinner); he’s the one who holds off the bad guys for the group; he tells bad jokes (Is it just me, hoặc do all dads do that? :] ), and he tries to give Lời khuyên but doesn’t usually come out right (as seen in “The Boiling Rock Part 1”). And for some reason, I can picture Zuko talking to Aang in “The Southern Raiders” like this, “Son, your mother and I are going out to find your grandmother’s killer. BEHAVE. Your older brother Sokka is in charge.” Ha, ha! Just kidding! :)

6. This is hard to notice, but Zuko and Katara also share about the same way of talking. Here are some examples:

        Katara to Ty Lee: Why don’t bạn try blocking me chi now, circus freak?! (Episode: “The Drill”)
        Zuko to Ty Lee: Circus freak. (Episode: “The Beach”)

        Katara to Aang: Calm?! I’M COMPLETELY CALM! (Episode: “The Chase”)
        Zuko to Uncle Iroh: I DON’T NEED ANY CALMING TEA! (I think the episode is, “The Boy In the Iceberg”, but correct me if I’m wrong)

        Katara to Toph: You’ve brought this on yourself! (Episode: The Runaway”)
        Zuko to Uncle Iroh: You’ve brought this on yourself, bạn know. (Episode: “The Headband”)

7) Zuko and Katara think about the same. They both disguised themselves as spirits to help a person, they both had to start a fake fight ending with bending to get arrested, they both had problems with thinking things through:

    Uncle to Zuko: bạn NEVER THINK THESE THINGS THROUGH! (Episode, “Lake Laogi”)
    Sokka to Katara: Did bạn think this through?! (Episode, “The Painted Lady”)

And in “The Southern Raiders” it was Zuko that was agreeing with Katara about her choice and he was sticking up for her. We also see in that episode that they fight well together.

8) They’re Both Good With Kids- In the episode “Zuko Alone”, Zuko helped the little boy fight with his swords, and encouraged him with a nod and smile. In the episode, “The Painted Lady”, Katara helped a little boy with thực phẩm since he was poor. Also, in the episode “Return to Omashu”, Katara handled baby Tom Tom (or is it Ton Ton?) very well. Even with Aang and Toph she comforts them when they need it and she tries to bring out the best in them.

9) They both tried to help a village, but when the village found out who they really were, they turned against them. In the episode, “Zuko Alone”, he tried to help a village from the bully earthbending guards. Though when the people of the town found out that he was really the Prince of the ngọn lửa, chữa cháy Nation, they hated him. Even after he tried to help them. In “The Painted Lady”, Katara acted like the Painted Lady spirit. She wanted to help the town from the ngọn lửa, chữa cháy Nation factory people. When the people of the village found out who she really was: a waterbender girl who’s visited the town before, they all got mad at her for pretending to be the Painted Lady. Unlike Zuko’s story, Sokka was there to stick up for Katara.

When she looked at me,
Her eyes pierced my heart
With vengeless anger,
Longing to be set free;
A familiar fire
That burned and would not depart ….

When she yelled at me,
My tim, trái tim was torn bởi sorrow
For her, as if longing to be
In her place, to prevent today
What could not be saved tomorrow;
Her price I would gladly pay…

When her hand struck me,
I was stunned
By the gentleness of her caress
On me—the enemy she had shunned;
She did not her hurt repress,
Yet did not tear down my dignity….

When she cried to me,
Her tears were as showers
Pelting my soul with grief unspoken;
Like burning flowers,
Grieving with...

ZUKOS POV:

It had been 3 weeks since the gang found out about me and Katara and I think they were finally starting to get used to it. the only people who seemed to be a little uneasy about it was Aang and Soka. Aang because of the fact that he had feelings for Katara, but she didnt feel for him and he was trying to get over it. Soka because he was worried I would hurt Katara. He even confronted me about it and I had to reasure him I wouldnt never hurt her and then he told me hed kill me if i hurt her.

KATARA'S POV:

I was just so happy that we could finaly be together in the ngày time. Not having...
