There have been reports of Kate spanking her children in the past, and there is also a video on Youtube of her denying daughter Mady water during a press event. Ultimately Paula Deen will have to decide whether Kate's benefits outweigh her potential problems.

While Kate shoots her talk show, her "Jon and Kate Plus 8" co-star Jon will also reportedly be in New York (at least for a little while). He just finished up an appearance for a Buffalo theme park yesterday, where he spent much of the time signing autographs (for free, and not $7 as a local paper originally reported) and taking pictures with fans.
