She paced back and forth in her own apartment. The light outside had disappeared as if giving up on her and leaving her without any support in this decision. The darkness had shrouded the den, not a single light in sight. The curtains had been drawn and all light-switches cut off. She would've ran into something bởi now if she hadn't had low-light vision. The sound that came out was so far away. It was as if she was standing outside her body a few football fields away. But he must have heard because he entered.

The darkness was both their homes. They thrived and lived and were born in it. She thought doing this in the dark was the best way. But he clicked on the light and she saw his face and felt her throat tighten and watched as the world came to stop.

The two stood in silence for a moment--or an eternity--before she spoke.

"It's over."

The words were hollow, just like the inside of her body. Of course her composure was as hard as metal but inside she was as empty as a suit of armor. But a moment later it broke and her expression faltered into a sorrow filled one. Her lips parted to explain but he cut her off and đã đưa ý kiến simply,"Don't worry; I understand." His icy eyes had been closed, and when they opened the cold cut right into her.

The cold pulled tears from her eye. The cold left her shivering. The cold pulled her into his arms. But no matter how the cold made her feel...she was relieved...relieved he understood,"Thank you, I was so worried."
"You don't need to be."
She pulled away hearing his words. She looked up and embraced the last Kiss on her forehead she'd receive from him. It was soft and caring as if telling her to just relax.
"Go and be free of all things, Blade Howard." He spoke calmly before taking her hand, removing the ring he had long cách đây được trao her. He held it before her.

The two were both on their own now.
Her reasoning was this: There was no "it's me not you" bullshit. She just wasn't prepared for this relationship as much as she had thought she had been. The decision to get married so young had been ludicrous....though being with him was never a mistake and she wouldn't trade those memories for the world...she'd care for him...forever...

Her fingers dialed quietly on her phone. She had shut the light back off so the darkness could take her away to a place of isolation. When Dante answered on the other end he felt the emotion on his sister's end e without her speaking a word...He knew she was going to end it with Terror, but never when.
He spoke slowly, as if pulling her into a virtual hug and nuzzling his little sister,"It's gonna be okay, Kiddo. You're gonna be okay...and so is he."
