I like Yaoi but I can only stand up to kissing.I don't like the hardcore scenes.So,I can understand why some people wouldn't like it.
For me it's a bunch of cute anime boys blushing over one another.

That's BL, not yaoi. I learned long cách đây that looking up BL on Google Nhật Bản brought up the softcore webrings while "shounenai" only talked about old mangas from the 70s & 80s. Shounenai as a term had already fallen out of fashion bởi the time it became được ưa chuộng here.
Whatever the official Japanese translation is. Yaoi is supposed to be an Japanese anagram for "no peak, no point, no meaning." It's smut, porn, it has little to no no story, X-rated BL.
Traditionally it only referred to doujinshis that literally had no plot other than two people boning for no reason, but it expanded. The doujinshikas I managed to get emails back from had a difficult time trying to explain the exact definition of June.

We didn't have scanlations back them; bạn had to buy a raw book & go off a sheet of translations. then the fansubs of stuff like Ai no Kusabi, Zetsuai/Bronze, Kaze to Ki no Utta, & Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki started coming out.
Aestheticism used to be the go-to-website for Japanese definitions & the earliest Yaoi & BL scanlations on the net.

Yaoi is the best thing in the world! It's life and nothing else compares to it!.... Except fnaf since I'm in tình yêu with fnaf! I even mix 'em together! Fnaf yaoi! But Yaoi is the best thing in this universe!
Yaoi is my fucking life. If I didn't have Yaoi in my life I would just be that one girl in my class that draws fanart of every single boy in my class kissing and/or fucking. Yaoi helps me hold back on that urge.
