I am and avid Sonic fan. Ever since I was 3 I've been hooked on Sonic. Sonic R was my first game, after all. Now I'm going into this review without any bias. I'm not excusing anything just because it's Sonic. So without further ado, let's begin the review.
Gameplay: Have bạn played Sonic Adventure 2, hoặc Heroes? If so you'll be glad to know that the gameplay is the same. For those of bạn who don't know Shadow can run, tường jump, and do a homing attack. There is something else added though. "What is it", I hear bạn ask. Well, I'll tell you. It's súng and vehicles. Now before bạn attack the game for having these game mechanics, they're optional and are not mandatory to use. Control: But what would gameplay be without the controls? Long story story short the controls work but can be slippery at times. 4/5
Story: This particular game follows Shadow's quest to find các câu trả lời bout his past. No matter what path bạn choose though you'll always end up on the alien stronghold but there are a few things that must happen. The leader of the Black Arms, Black Doom, comes to Shadow and tells him of "the promised time" and how Shadow needs to bring him the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Shadow goes after them and one way hoặc another gets them. Since this is a choose-your-own adventure game there are several different stories so I'll just go to the ending. SPOILERS!!!! Eventually Shadow and his Những người bạn make it to the Black Comet where it is revealed that Shadow is part Black Arm and is immune to Black Doom's toxins. He then goes after BD where it is revealed that he is Shadow's biological father and that he was created bởi Dr. Gerald Robotnik created Shadow to stop BD. After a fight BD is defeated and harmony is brought onto the world. 3/5
