It's heartbreaking to me because Dante can't do anything to help her. He watches Kat get shot and beaten then dragged away right in front of him and there's nothing he can do but watch.
The way he tries hold her hand... the way he looks on as the building explodes as him and Vergil get away.
Quick backstory: Mundus, the demon king, carried his salty sentiments for 2000 years when one of his hàng đầu, đầu trang generals, Sparda, rebelled against him. Mundus sent demons to kill Sparda's family, the twins being separated and thinking the other dead.
Fast phía trước, chuyển tiếp to DMC3 and bạn have the twins at odds with each other. Dante thought he *lost* his brother, and bạn would think there would be hugs and kisses and tears when they reunited.
Nope.
Vergil has vengeance on his mind (damn bạn Mundus) and he doesn't care who gets in his way. During their final battle, Vergil loses and realizes that he had an ally in his brother, but being the prideful warrior that he is, he didn't ask Dante and willingly sacrificed himself to the better man.
I can't deal with this scene. It's too powerful to me!
Big Boss' death in Metal Gear Solid 4: súng of the Patriots This scene makes me cry every time, and it's no wonder why it's emotional depth is one of those things the universally acclaimed video game is definitely praised for. It taught and encouraged me to never smoke (which I never in my entire life smoked hoặc do drugs and I never will), tình yêu my parents and my family (which deep down inside I do), never think about suicide as it is wrong, and of course, follow my dreams and never give up on them!
