When Dimitri signs the note, did he say 'Love, D' kind of as a joke?

I dont think so, he done D because well he didnt have to put his whole name for rose to know who D is... + mayb he might have thought someone else might read it and they wouldnt know who D was only rose would...

No, he didn't mean it as a joke. It was sarcasm.
bạn joke when bạn want to make someone laugh.
But, when bạn use sarcasm, bạn can easily embarrass people hoặc hurt their feelings.
