In the first movie Lucian says that he took a vampire for his bride. Does that mean that he and Sonja were married in "Rise of the Lycan", hoặc was he being metaphorical?

I don't know exactly when the movie took place but way back in the ngày in order for someone to be considered married they just had to sleep together.
