Bella's pov

I heard growling and Dorian stopped kissing me. I was never that happy when he stopped but when we looked up to see who was growling I saw Edward. In his eyes was pain and anger. I will never forgive myself for this. Dorian was still holding my pulse very tight so i couldn’t go anywhere and he was just laughing.

Edward drove very gentile, he knew what my reaction would be if he drove to fast with Mason in the car. So it took a while before we arrived home. When we finally did we both walked out of the car and I took Mason, he was sleeping now so I took him gently in my arms. Suddenly Renesmee comes running out the door

My chest felt as if it was going to explode, although I had not heartbeat to speak of, it was racing ten to the dozen in my mind. I tried to stand up, to get away from the scene I had found, but my legs wouldn’t hold me up long enough. I fell to the ground hitting my head hard on the foot of my grandmothers bed, my head swirling out of control, filled with scenes that could have been mistaken for a horror film. The crash, the biting, the sight of my grandmother dying silently while I was to chicken to do something about it.
I lay there for what seemed liked days but when I looked at the clock...

" OH, my god! Trenton your a vampire!" I shouted but really i didnt care, my best friend is a vampire instead of human and i never saw it coming. Jacob nodded. I looked at Edward who was still giving Jacob death stares. How could I be so stupid? How could I think that I would ever live happily ever after with Edward? He was a freaking vampire for Christ sake! I didn’t need Jacob to tell me the venom wasn’t stopping me getting older, I could have told myself that. Whenever I had looked in the mirror I could see another sign that I was getting nearer and nearer to seventeen and I knew Edward could see this too. He isn’t that brilliant at disguising his thoughts....

All of them used to lie before her, at her feet. Now, they lay crushed on the ground.
