I didn't ask for this. I honestly would have rather died, but I suppose that wasn't an option ever since Emmett and Rosalie found me. Rosalie must have taken pity in me, being raped, beaten, stabbed and left to die in the middle of nowhere. Right before my spirit almost left my body, I could feel bite marks all over my body. My neck, my legs, my stomach and wrists ached with the feeling that two big needles stabbing into my skin.

"I couldn't leave her there. I know I resented Carlisle for turning me, but now that I'm in the same position as he was, I couldn't let her die."

When I found that I could control my body again, I immediately grabbed my throat. All I could feel was burning, like someone had thrown lit matches down my esophagus. I was so thirsty. I tried to ignore my thirst for long enough that I was able to look at myself in the full-length mirror in the room. I was beautiful. I turned to see a beautiful blonde girl looking at me. Wrapped around her waist was the bulky arm of a handsome, tall, dark-haired man, with a devilish smirk on his face.
"Rosalie," I found myself saying. I really hoped that the girl I was looking at was the girl who saved me.
She smiled. "Yes. That's me, and this is Emmett. What's your name?"
They towered over me. I was short compared to the rest of the girls in my school, but they were even taller than anyone I knew. They were like models. "I'm Charlotte."
They smiled, "Nice to meet you. I know you're probably confused right now... and you're thirsty."
"Yeah, I am. Can bạn get me a glass of water?
Rosalie and Emmett looked at each other and laughed. I was confused, until Emmett looked at me, "Water won't do bạn any good. How's blood sound?"

Esme frowned, "Bella, enough. Keep Nessie in your house for a little while. Rose will take her hunting every ngày to quench her thirst."
The auburn-haired man gave me a death look. "I'm not keeping my family around this newborn. Bella, Renesmee and I will have to stay with the Denali's until this girl can control herself."
Rosalie went ballistic. "Edward, not all of us can have perfect control like your little wifey. I've adopted Charlotte, and she's part of our family. She's not going anywhere. Leave if bạn want, but she's not."
