End of Chapter 19

She was scrubbing the floor of the bathroom when the doorbell rang. I didn't see her having any visitors, how could I have missed this. I closed my eyes and tried to see if I could figure out who it was. There was a possibility that it could be Jacob, but why wouldn't I be able to see him? Bella was watching my face very closely, I shook my head and shrugged my shoulders.

"Hold on!!" Bella shouted as she ran to the sink to wash her hands.

I stood around the edge of the house and spied on the boy who Bella claimed was a werewolf. I saw him fall to his knees, a silent scream ripping from his mouth. The cell phone crumbled in his hand and he took off running...I wasn't sure where but it couldn't be good.

I stood outside gasping, the pain and panic taking control of my being. I felt like my chest was being ripped open, I couldn't breath. My only thought was to get to him, I had to go tell Bella I was leaving...and now!

I scaled the house and went back in the window of Charlie's room. I heard Bella say "Now bạn listen to me, Jacob Black." Then something about him having to go...obviously he knew I was in the house.

"Alice?" Bella asked, her voice weak. "What happened?"

"I don't know." I cried. "What is he thinking!?!"
