Not really. He kept on pushing his luck. Bella has told him she wasn't looking for thêm than friendship. So he kind of set himself up for disappointment.
Plus, if bạn had read the books, then bạn know that Bella chose Edward. And in Breaking Dawn, Jacob gets his mate.
