Did TWICE expect the line \'Shy Shy Shy\' to become such a trend?

Everyone has probably at least once sang the line \'Shy Shy Shy\' from TWICE\'s "

Cheer Up". The hot idol group revealed their thoughts on the new trend during an interview with My Daily. 

Sana, who sings this part in their song, said, "During the recording, the only thoughts I had in my mind were that I wanted to work hard, and also do well. But then at the showcase many people seemed to like this part, so I wondered, \'Why are they liking it so much? This is awesome!\' The reporters also wrote many wonderful articles for it, so I was amazed and asked myself, \'What is happening?\'"

She continued, "Many artists and sunbaenims used it as hashtags in their Instagram updates, and it was also used in variety show captions. It\'s so amazing."

Nayeon also showed amazement at the trend, saying,"Because of our schedules we don\'t have time to go out, but we can still feel that the number of people singing along to our song and cheering for us has increased. The \'Shy Shy Shy\' trend is so amazing. I never thought it would be such a big hit. There are points in every song that needs to be emphasized, and I think Sana\'s inaccurate pronunciation has highlighted the part."

It\'s because people, as I, likes good "hooks". A lot of kpop-songs have been lacking good hooks the last couple of years, so in this case "Shy, shy, shy" became kind of the hook of the song, instead of "Cheer up" the chorus.

If it wasn\'t Sana I don\'t think it would trend.

She herself has said on camera that she pronounces it "sha sha sha", but I have to say that to me it sounds like she says it correctly. I her nothing else than "shy, shy, shy".

I agree, I have never heard anything else than "Shy, shy, shy" Don\'t know where people get\'s that from. But I can hear the "Shut up" chorus...

I think it\'s because she overdid the american accent a bit^^ It actually sounds kinda like a texan accent to me XD Nevertheless, I find it really cute, and am glad they\'re getting recognition

I could understand Sana\'s shy shy shy line straight away (the way she says it is more cute than anything!)  but I still feel like they sing \'shut up baby\' haha anyway I love the song and Twice so much! :\'\') Akp is such a breeding ground for trolls ...haha

Of course it would trend. Everyone\'s mocking how you mispronounce the goddamn word. shashasha twice fighting~~
