Autumn POV

I lay in my giường wide awake, staring at the ceiling. I couldn't sleep because of all of these things here to distract me. There was this prince that I've never even heard of liking one of us, and I have a hunch that it's Stella he's got eyes for, and Ike's brother, then there's Flora. Who knows what could be happening with Flora right now?? That's the one that worried me the most. I didn't want what happened with me and Dean to happen with Flora as well. I tossed and turned, when suddenly I hears a tapping on my window. I looked out to see Ike standing on the balcony, so I opened it and let him in.

"Ike, if bạn get caught we could both get in trouble. What are you-" I couldn't finish that sentence because I realized something. That wasn't Ike, it was his brother. My eyes widened as I backed away slowly.

"Devon, what are bạn doing here? bạn need to leave." I backed into the wall, and he lunged at me, putting his hand over my mouth so I couldn't scream. He was taller than Ike, so that means he towered over me, and I couldn't push him away from me. I heard his voice in my ear and down my neck.

"Autumn, come with me and we won't have any trouble." He started to drag me toward the balcony, but I pulled away from him, shaking my head. He slammed me against the wall. Someone had to have heard that. I prayed for someone to come in here and find him. He pinned me to the tường and I tried to tear myself out of his grip, but he was too strong for me, and he wouldn't budge. Someone tried to open my door, but it was locked. They kept shaking the knob, and before I could do anything, someone kicked the door open and I saw Ike standing in the doorway, Julien and Helia behind him.

His grip tightened on my wrists and face, and he dug his nails into my skin. I screamed against his hand when I felt blood break through my skin, and Julien Mất tích it. "Devon what do bạn want??" Ike pleaded, glancing at me worriedly.

Devon thought about it. "I want bạn to come with me."

My eyes widened. "Ike, don't!" I exclaimed. Devon turned around and grabbed me again, wrapping a hand around my neck.

"It's either bạn hoặc him." Devon growled. "I won't let bạn separate us again."

"Separate you? If he had a choice do bạn honestly think he would go back with you?" I said. Before I knew it, his hand collided with my face so hard that I blacked out for a second, my ears ringing. I don't remember much but I remember him pinning me to the floor and threatening to do it again if Ike didn't go with him. Devon looked up at him and I remember kicking him as hard as I could. Ike grabbed him and pinned him against the wall, and the two of them exchanged punches. "It's okay, Julien and Ike are taking care of it." Helia's voice whispered in my ear, and I relaxed.

I woke up to find Ike sitting tiếp theo to me, holding my hand. There was a cut on his forehead and he had a black eye, but that was it. I had no idea what I looked like. I tried to look around, and I realized I was in my bed.

"Hey," I said, surprised at how scratchy my voice sounded. Ike smiled at me and engulfed me in his strong arms. I wrapped my arms around him and noticed I had dry blood on my wrists and they were covered in scratches. Ike seemed to notice them as well, and he looked at me, his eyes filled with questions.

"You're always beautiful." Ike said, and I smiled at his sweetness. "He cut bạn up real good, didn't he?" I nodded, and looked in a mirror across the room. I had blood on the side of my face, and scratches on my neck. I sighed.

"I swear I didn't know it was him. I let him in because I thought it was you, then he asked me to go with him and when I didn't.. Well, that's when bạn came in." I said.

"Wait, bạn let him in??" Ike said, his eyes widening.

"I thought it was you! He looks just like you, and it was dark."

"Still, never let anyone into your room from your balcony." Ike said, and I nodded.

"Anyway, we should get to that dumb parade." Ike said, and I nodded.
