Two New Teasers Feature Caryl and Gleggie

We’ve gotta give some major props to AMC’s marketing department for pulling on our heartstrings in two, brief new teasers for Season 5 of

The Walking Dead. Both clips are short and sweet as they give us a glimpse of some of our favorite duos on the show, but we’re ready for more already!

While Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) may not be one of the show’s official couples, they are certainly one of TWD’s most beloved pairs so it was great to see them together again in the sneak peek — even if it was only for 11 seconds.

The clip begins with a shot of Daryl and Carol raising their weapons — a crossbow for him and a rifle for her — as the phrase “Hunt or be hunted” dominates the screen. We aren’t sure who or what they’re aiming at, but we’re eager to find out. What’s more? In the final moments of the clip we’re treated to a shot of Carol carefully looking through a broken window.

The second newly-released teaser features none other than Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) and Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), but they’re sadly not shown together. Glenn appears first, aiming his gun at a walker who is partially offscreen, and Maggie follows as she is shown standing in a warehouse of sorts as walkers creep behind her. Like in the Caryl teaser, “Hunt or be hunted” is the tagline du jour.
