There were stakes galore, running-while-shooting moves, and charges out of the dark. It was like Die Hard with fangs. Which makes us wonder: Can we be Elena for just one minute? Just one? We’d even take 30 giây of feeling that total and utter devotion the Salvatores have for her. For reals.

Hours after they rescued Elena from Elijah, the eldest Salvatore snuck into her room just as she was getting ready for bed. Damon claimed he wanted to return her Vervain necklace.
