Caroline was sitting at the bar in Mystic Grill, waiting for Derek. She had spotted him in the café a lot lately, but she had always thought he was just hanging around. Now she knew better. Derek swallowed. “Please don’t tell Damon. He’ll kill me if he finds out” he begged.
