I know a lot of people don't like Tyler but he is one of my favorites on the show and is totally underused and by far a more interesting character then Caroline. The only reason I like Forwood is because of his safety, it seems the writers are only using him for Caroline's story. They can easily find locations in 50-100 years and would both be mature and ready to settle down with each other. And when he was turn to vampire , his mother has divert herself from him, the hatred of his father towards him has only grown. The only way for him to survive was to become even more powerful. And with the habit of killing people, his dark side took over. And the fact that all the people he loves or has loved has betrayed him haven't help!!! because in the flashbacks, when we see Klaus when he was human, he wasn't a cruel man or something like that rather a nice and sweet man. We don't know what Michael did to Klaus!!! We don't know a lot of thing about him therefore.... And yes Klaus has hurt to Caroline and people she loves. but Stefan and Damon, did the same to Elena somehow! Anyway in this show, that isn't be all white or all black!! Why Caroline would want to go with Klaus? : curiosity ,his hunger for adventure, to be a risk-taker.
