Which E/C ship could've actually come true?

I think it’s Gerik and Emmy’s Christine from the 2004 film. The pair’s mental states and tình yêu for each others seemed essentially thêm stable and genuine, than in other versions.

Gerik was clearly far less insane than any of the stage Phantoms I’ve seen, not to mention Leroux’s original Erik. He never even physically abused Christine. (Yes, he quite violently dragged her down to the lair in the end, but it didn’t seem to actually hurt her, and when he calmed down he was very gentle for...

I originally đã đăng this on IMDB's board as VampireOutlaw.

No one wanted a sequel, <-- (generally speaking), it was still made, the critiques hate it, the những người hâm mộ hate it, it keeps on having to close down...Yet it's still here?
I know it has its share of fans, but nonetheless the crucially and strongly negative reception seems to be the situation in general.

So why the bloody hell does ALW not give up? hoặc if he can't bring himself to, why does he keep on trying with only minor changes?

~ First a sidenote:
Love Never Dies is not a sequel to the 2004 movie because that movie is Joel Schumacher's interpretation...

THE CURSE OF THE OPERA

Three days ago, on the 23rd of June 2013, a crisis to go down in the history of musical theatre occurred. The female lead, Christine Daee, in London's best loved musical, the Phantom of The Opera, was found dead in her hotel room after the magnificent first show's finale. Phillipa Jones, who played the role, had previously been telling the rest of the cast outlandish rumours of a face appearing behind her mirror - as the Phantom did to Christine's in the play.

Distraught, yet convinced the hiển thị must go on, the director (who will remain unnamed) forced her understudy to...

Curiosity Kills

This was written for the Featuring Luciana challenge. The challenge: Write a oneshot story describing Luciana's thoughs on Erik, shortly before her death.

“I want bạn to take off the mask. Please take off the mask.”

I am standing in front of Erik, begging him to remove the mask that hides his face from me. I want to know his face, to see him.

“You must excuse me, mademoiselle. I have work to finish.”

The nerve of him! “I will not excuse you! bạn don’t have work to finish! I want bạn to take off...

I have seen T.P.O.T.O many times, and most of them have been the 25th anniversary performance. This performance is by-far my favorite. Ramin Kariloo is the BEST Phantom I have ever seen. Sierra Boggess is also the best Christine. Hadley Fraser is one of the best Raoul's I have seen. Even Meg and Madame Giry were fantastic. Carlotta was probably my least yêu thích actress. I enjoyed this performance so much better because the actors seemed like they were literally their characters. I hope bạn enjoyed this and bạn can watch the entire performance on youtube. Thanks!

There are various interpretations of why the old Raoul brings the monkey âm nhạc box to her grave and some even think that all the old Raoul parts of the movie are completely useless. However, I'm one of those who believe that while the film would've worked perfectly well even without Raoul travelling anywhere with the âm nhạc box, all the old Raoul clips are perhaps the most essential aspect of the entire film's basic point. I think they are the ultimate aspect that drastically differs the film from the stage play.

A monkey symbolizes many things that are strongly related to the story. Essential...

Carlotta is writen as a horrid character. She tells rumors and plans schemes to eliminate christine as her competition. I think what is often overlooked is that Carlotta is one of the so many victims of the book. From what is written bạn can tell that Carlotta was extremely talented as an opera singer as the book mentions how perfect an instrument her voice was. She had the misfortune to be ill and be replaced bởi someone far thêm loved and adored than herself, that in itself is enough to make anyone mad, take a ngày of sick and your job isnt waiting for bạn when bạn get back. Not only was she...

It is no secret that I'm not fond of tình yêu Never Dies. I don't like the idea of ALW making a sequel to a hiển thị that had no need of one, I don't like the fact that although a good portion of the âm nhạc (while fairly pretty) has been recycled hoặc pinched from other sources while Wee Andy brags about how it's the best thing he's ever done and it's SO original, and I especially am appalled bởi what has been done to the characters. However, as it exists and it is impossible to avoid it in the fandom hoặc erase it from my memory, I have decided that I must analyze it and try to figure out just what in the...

Remind you of anyone?
The Haunted Mansion ride at Disney has always been one of my favourite things, and Phantom tops the danh sách at #1 fave thing. And a while back I started noticing really heavy similarities between the two things and I found many of them interesting. I thought I would share these observations here, so that others might enjoy the coincidences, hoặc homages if you'd care to take it that way.

We will begin in the Foyer. Above the fireplace hangs a portrait where a young gentleman (presumably Master Gracey) hangs. It is here that the unseen guide for the attraction first makes his presence known.
"When...
