The national touring company production of "The Phantom of the Opera" is here until Sunday, Aug. 22. The drama is from an adaptation by Dirk Kuiper based on the novel by Gaston Leroux. Whereas not the popular musical version, fans of the musical will find a recognizable story with many of the same characters. Performance dates are Friday and Saturday Aug. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21. All shows are at 8 p.m. at the Newell Theatre, on the 3rd Floor of the Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave. in Cuyahoga Falls.
