But link is equally official and states that Rafiki had met Mufasa when Mufasa was a cub. Out of all the characters in both the Lion King movies, Mufasa, Simba & Kovu. I have nicknamed them "The Three Kings" for the sake of this article.

Mufasa

Mufasa, the only one the unfortunately, died an untimely death.

He was the wise one of the bunch. It almost seemed like Mufasa knew what would happen in the future.

An example of this is this conversation between Mufasa and

Simba;Young Simba: We're pals, right?
Mufasa: Right.
Young Simba: And we'll always be together, right?
Mufasa: Simba, let me tell bạn something my father told me. Look at the stars. The great kings of the past are up...
