We all tình yêu the hunger games right? (duh! hoặc bạn wouldn't be đọc this)
But all of us have a different opinion of Twilight. Would the hunger games movie REALLY be the new twilight.
I doubt it very much.

For one thing, the hunger games is a completely different story (try as I might, I could not find a connection between 'vegetarian' ma cà rồng and teenagers being forced to kill each other).
For another thing, the hunger games doesn't have the right elements to generate the same crazy hype that twilight created.

Now bởi the right elements, I mean:

1. A boneless doormat of a female lead with about as much personality as a piece of cold nấm ravioli. That's an important element, here. Without a colorless, flavorless female lead such as Bella Swan, girl readers have a hard time projecting themselves into the romance.
In The Hunger Games, we get Katniss Everdeen, a very well defined, strong character, who hunts with a bow and arrow, and who likely would be extremely underwhelmed at a brooding waste of không gian like Edward Cullen. That is, unless Edward knew how to trap squirrels and root for berries.

2. A super-strong, borderline stalker of a male lead. Again, a very important element. In the Twilight series, Edward essentially makes all the big decisions: That he and Bella will date, that he and Bella will go out to dinner, etc. The Hunger Games has a pair of very promising suitors for Katniss, but both of them know better than to try to spy on her while she's sleeping. That is, unless they're cruising for an Mũi tên xanh to the kneecap!

3. Overwrought romance. That's the entire point of all of the Twilight books—getting Bella and Edward together. But it isn't the center of The Hunger Games; the kids are too busy holding onto their vital organs to focus much on love.

4. Lead actors who always look sad and lonely, and who are secretly dating. The life ring that kept twilight afloat between movies.

How on Earth did we even consider Twilight and The Hunger Games being even remotely similar!
I don't know about bạn but I think we need to be realistic when we predict the fate of movies.

AnnaKay19 LOL! Love this article. Didn't think I'd find someone who hated Twilight as much as me, but I think you might hate it even more! You are definitely right about the non-similarity of HG and Twilight. I am so SICK of people saying HG is the "new" Twilight. It is so much better than that and deserves recognition on its own merit - of which there is plenty! :) P.S. Katniss is the original badass!

jennabug121 I hate Twighlite and I couldn't agree more! Katnmiss(as Haymitch said) has spunk. Bella is a cold thing of a slug!

viva_espana97 Yeah most definitely. I mean I hate Twilight and all and I agree with everything you said but I think that just the mere concept of HG is radically different from Twilight. I mean seriously, two impossible lovers (gags) and kids just trying to survive and live.

jennabug121 Yea and in the Hunger Games love is based on survival! Bella is just a holmly little peasent who likes danger.

rooford409 When people say that the hunger games is the next twilight they mean, opr at leats I do, that the whole love triagle thing, it may not be as much as a factor in the hunger games but its there. And when people say that the hunger games is the next twilight people mean that its not the actual story line that's makes it like twilight. And I like twight very much, it is the next twight.

lexid2014 agreed! It's not the same, I like twilight and all but hunger games are def better :)
