Haha, they can sign on all the good actors I like, I'm still not paying to see the piece of crap that is the Twilight series :')

(but that actor is awesome. I wish he could get some better parts)

Um, yes, of course I did. I don't judge things I haven't tried. I've read the books (all of them, yes. They are terrible but also very train wreck-like: I kept reading on because I wanted to see how horrified I could be next) and watched the movie, because 1) I'm interested in how different media translates to film and 2) Kristen Stewart is HOT.

It's fine if people read those books and enjoy them, but why I hate them so much is that 1) some people see them as HOMGBESTBOOKS EVER and they're not, the writing is terrible and there's not much plot to be found in it and 2) lots of girls of impressionable ages are reading this, and while I don't like censorship or anything I'm very squicked out that the view that the relationship between Bella and Edward is a healthy ideal of a romance, while it's actually dependant, emotionally abusive and kind of degrading to girls and women.

That, and it's fun to have something to dislike next to having so many things to fangirl.
