I thought this was awesome when I saw it. I was searching some information about one of the episodes, and came across the complete transcript of the 'pilot' episode. I thought I should share it. Read and enjoy.

{On the black screen}

“Lawrence Kansas

22 Years Ago”

{The episode opens at night to a house with some scary music}

Mom: {Is carrying Dean into Sam’s room} Come on, let’s say goodnight to your brother.

Dean: {Kisses Sam on the forehead} Good night Sam.

Mom: Good night, love. {Kisses Sam on the forehead}

Dad: {Walks into room} Hey dean.

Dean: Daddy! {Runs and jumps into his father’s arms}

Dad: Hey buddy! What do ya think? You think Sammy’s read to toss around a football yet?

Dean: No, daddy.

Dad: No?

Mom: You got him?

Dad: I got him. {Turns off the light} Sweet dreams, Sam.

{Sam looks up at the mobile above his head, which starts turning on its own. The clock on his wall stops, and his nightlight flickers. In his parent’s room where his mom is sleeping, the baby monitor is on and we hear a lot of static and faint crying}

Mom: {Turns on the light} John? {She looks over to see her husband is not next to her in bed. She walks across the hall to Sammy’s room where a man is standing over Sam’s crib} John, is he hungry?

Man: Shh

Mom: Okay {She starts heading back to her wall, but notices the light down the hall is flickering, so she goes to tap on it to try to get it to stop} Hmm. {She hears the television on, so she walks down the stairs and sees John asleep in front of the television. She runs back up the stairs, heading towards Sam’s room.} Sammy! Sammy!

{Once in Sam’s room she stops, screams, and the camera cuts back downstairs to John, who jumps up}

John: Mary!? Mary! Mary! {He runs up to Sam’s room, throws open the door, and looks around. He walks up to Sam’s crib and looks down at him.} Hey Sammy. Okay. {Something red drips onto the sheet in the crib by Sam’s head. John sticks his finger in it, the red continues to drip on his hand, and as he looks up he sees Mary on the ceiling.} No! Mary!

{Mary bursts into flames and Sammy starts crying, so John picks him up and begins to run down the hall when he is met by Dean}

Dean: Daddy!

John: {Hands Sam to Dean} Take your brother outside as fast as you can! Don’t look back! Now Dean, go!

{Dean runs downstairs with Sam as John runs back into Sam’s room.}

John: Mary! No! {The whole room practically erupts into flames.}

Dean: {Runs out the front door with Sam and looks back up to Sam’s window.} It’s okay, Sam.

John: {Runs up from behind Dean (who is still holding Sam), and grabs them, still running} I gotcha.

{The windows explode outwards from the fire.}

{An ambulance pulls up to their house}

Fireman: It’s all right; I got it.

Fireman 2: Here. {Hands a fireman a hose, and he walks over to the still flaming house where there are already a few firemen trying to extinguish it.}

{Indistinct yelling from the firemen, and a police comes on scene pushing back onlookers.}

Policeman: Stay back! Stay back.

{John is holding Sam in his arms with Dean next to him, and the screen goes black.}

“Stanford University

Present Day”

Jess: {Comes out of a room putting on earrings} Sam! Get a move on would ya? We were supposed to be there like 15 minutes ago. Sam! Ya comin or what?

Sam: {Pokes his head around the corner} Do I have to?

Jess: Yes. It’ll be fun. And where’s your costume?

Sam: You know how I feel about Halloween.

{Cut scene to a bar where there is a Halloween party.}

Jess: {Raises up a glass} So here’s to Sam and his awesome LSAT victory.

Sam: All right, all right it’s not that big a deal

Jess: He acts all humble but he scored a 174

Friend: Mmm {Puts down his shot glass} Is that good?

Jess: Scary good

Friend: See there you go, you are first-round draft pick. You can go to any law school you want

Sam: Actually I got an interview here…Monday. If it goes ok I think I got a shot at a full ride next year.

Jess: Hey it’s gonna go great.

Sam: It better.

Friend: How does it feel to be the golden boy in your family?

Sam: Ah, they don’t know

Friend: Don’t know? I would be gloating! Why not?

Sam: Cause we’re not exactly the Brady’s.

Friend: And I’m not exactly the Huxtables. More shots? {Starts to walk away to get himself another drink}

Sam: No, no.

Jess: No. [to Sam] Seriously. I’m proud of you and your gonna knock ‘em dead on Monday and you’re gonna get that full ride. I know it.

Sam: What would I do without you?

Jess: Crash and burn.

{Sam and Jess kiss.}

{Later that night back in Sam’s house, where Sam and Jess are sleeping, there is a crash in the other room, and Sam wakes up. He walks slowly into the other room and hears the floorboards creaking, and sees a man’s shadow go into the other room. He grabs the man and they do a few karate-type moves on each other before the other man pins him on the ground and we can see his face in the light.}

Dean: Whoa, easy, tiger.

Sam: Dean?

{Dean laughs}

Sam: {Breathing heavily} You scared the crap out of me.

Dean: That’s cause you’re out of practice

{Sam does a move that wins up pinning him on top of Dean.}

Dean: Or not…Get off me.

{They get up}

Sam: Dean, what the hell are you doing here?

Dean: Well I was looking for a beer.

Sam: What the hell are you doing here?

Dean: Okay, all right, we gotta talk.

Sam: Uh, the phone?

Dean: If I’d have called, would you have picked up?

Jess: {Turns on the light in the room} Sam?

Sam: Jess, hey. Dean, this is my girlfriend Jessica.

Jess: Wait, your brother dean?

Dean: {Acknowledging the nightshirt Jess is wearing} I love the Smurfs. You know I gotta tell you, you are completely out of my brother’s league.

Jess: Just let me put something on.

Dean: No, no, no, I wouldn’t dream of it…Seriously. Anyway, I gotta borrow your boyfriend here, talk about some private family business, but, uh, nice meeting you.

Sam: No. No. Whatever you wanna say you can say it in front of her.

Dean: Okay. Um…dad hasn’t been home in a few days.

Sam: So he’s working over-time on a “Miller Time” shift; he’ll stumble back in sooner or later.

Dean: Dad’s on a hunting trip and he hasn’t been home in a few days.

Sam: Jess, excuse us. We have to go outside.

{On the way downstairs}

Sam: I mean come on; you can’t just break in, in the middle of the night, and expect me to hit the road with you.

Dean: You’re not hearing me Sammy. Dad’s missing; I need you to help me find him.

Sam: You remember the poltergeist in Amherst, or the devil’s gates in Clifton? He was missing then too, he’s always missing and he’s always fine.

Dean: Not for this long. Now you gonna come with me or not?

Sam: I’m not

Dean: Why not?

Sam: I swore I was done hunting for good.

Dean: Come on, it wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t that bad.

Sam: Yeah? When I told dad when I was scared of the thing in my closet he gave me a .45.

Dean: Well what was he supposed to do?

Sam: I was 9 years old. He was supposed to say “Don’t be afraid of the dark.”

Dean: Don’t be afraid of the dark? What are you kidding me of course you should be afraid of the dark! You know what’s out there!

Sam: Yeah I know but still-- the way we grew up after mom was killed, and dad’s obsession to find the thing that killed her, but we still haven’t found the damn thing, so we kill everything we can find.

Dean: Save a lot of people doing it, too.

Sam: You think mom would have wanted this for us? {Dean walks outside and Sam follows} The weapon training and melting the silver into bullets? Man, Dean, we were raised like warriors.

Dean: So, what are you gonna do? You just gonna live some normal, apple-pie life? Is that it?

Sam: No. Not normal. Safe

Dean: And that’s why you ran away?

Sam: I was just going to college. It was dad who said if I was gonna go, I should stay gone. And that’s what I’m doing.

Dean: Yeah well dad’s in real trouble if he’s not dead already, I can feel it. I can’t do this alone.

Sam: Yes you can.

Dean: Yeah. Well, I don’t want to.

Sam: What was he hunting?

Dean: {Opens the trunk of his car and opens a case of guns and knives} All right, let’s see. Where the hell did I put that thing?

Sam: So when dad left, why didn’t you go with him?

Dean: I was working my own gig. This voodoo thing down in New Orleans

Sam: Dad let you go on a hunting trip by yourself?

Dean: I’m 26, dude. {Finds a book and pulls out a paper} All right, here we go.

So dad was checking out this two-lane blacktop outside of Jericho, California. About a month ago this guy {Pulls out a newspaper clipping and hands it to Sam}-- they found his car but he’d vanished, completely M.I.A.
Sam: So maybe he was kidnapped.

Dean: Yeah well, here’s another one in April {Keeps handing Sam articles} another one in December ’04, ’03, ’98, ’92. Ten of them over the past 20 years, all men, all same 5-mile stretch of road. Started happening more and more so dad went to go dig around. That was about three weeks ago. I hadn’t heard from him since, which is bad enough. {Takes out his cell phone} Then I get this voicemail yesterday {Plays voicemail}

Dad on voicemail: {Through much static} Dean, something is starting to happen, I think it’s serious. I need to try to figure out what’s going on {The rest is inaudible, as the static has taken over.} Be very careful Dean, we’re all in danger.

Sam: You know there’s EVP on that?

Dean: Not bad, Sammy. Kind of like riding a bike isn’t it? All right. I slowed the message down, and ran it through a Gold Wave took out the hiss, and this is what I got. {Replays voicemail}

Woman on voicemail: I can never go home.

Sam: Never go home.

Dean: {Dean throws his cell phone back into the trunk of his car and shuts it.} You know in almost two years I’ve never bothered you. Never asked you for a thing.

Sam: All right. I’ll go. I’ll help you find him. But I have to get back first thing Monday. Just wait here. {He starts to go back inside}

Dean: What’s first thing Monday?

Sam: I have this…I have an interview.

Dean: What, a job interview? Skip it.

Sam: It’s a law-school interview, and it’s my whole future on a plate.

Dean: Law school?

Sam: So we got a deal or not?

{Back inside Sam is packing a duffel bag. He grabs a sharp hook and puts it in the bag. Jess comes into the room.}

Jess: Wait you’re taking off? Is this about your dad? Is he all right?

Sam: Yeah, you know, just a little family drama.

Jess: But your brother said he was on some kind of a hunting trip.

Sam: Aw yeah, he’s just deer hunting up at the cabin and he’s probably got Jim, Jack, and Jose along with him. We’re just gonna go bring him back.

Jess: What about the interview?

Sam: I’ll make the interview. This is only for a couple of days. {He starts walking out the door}

Jess: Sam, I mean, please, just stop for a second. You sure you’re okay?

Sam: I’m fine.

Jess: It’s just…you won’t even talk about your family and now you’re taking off in the middle of the night to spend the weekend with them? And with Monday coming up which is kind of a huge deal.

Sam: Hey, everything’s gonna be okay. I will be back in time-I promise. {He kisses her and walks out the door}

Jess: [Shouting after him] At least tell me where you’re going.

{Cut scene to a guy driving down the road talking on his cell phone}

{On the screen}

“Jericho, California”

Boy: Amy I can’t come over tonight. Because I got work in the morning, that’s why. Okay, I miss it, my dad’s gonna have my ass. {He notices a lady in white by the side of the road up ahead} Hey…uh…Amy, let me call you back. {He hangs up and the radio in the car starts flickering on and off. He stops in front of the lady.} Car trouble or something?

Woman in White: Take me home.

Boy: Sure, get in.

{The woman gets into his car, and as we see the car from the back, the lady is not sitting in the passenger seat where she just got in, and as if her hand were going out for the door to shut it, we cannot see it, but the door still shuts.}

Boy: {Seems to be more interested in the lady’s chest area} So, where do you live?

Woman in White: At the end of Breckenridge Road.

Boy: You coming from a Halloween party or something? You know um, a girl like you really shouldn’t be alone out here. {He watches as the lady pulls up her skirt to show some of her leg, then turns to look out the window.}

Woman in White: I’m with you. {She reaches her hand over and grabs him by the chin to turn his head towards her.} Do you think I’m pretty?

Boy: Uh-huh.

Woman in White: Will you come home with me?

Boy: Um…hell yeah. {Peels out towards her house.}

{Cut scene to the end of Breckenridge Road, where the boy is pulling up to a boarded up house.}

Boy: Come on, you don’t live here.

Woman in White: I can never go home.

Boy: What are you talking about? Nobody even lives here. Where do you live? {When the boy turns back to the lady, she is gone. He steps out of the car.} That was good. Joke’s over, okay? You want me to leave? {He walks up to the front door of the deserted house} Hello? Hello? {Some bats fly out of the house, he screams and runs back to his car. He puts the car in reverse and starts to speed backwards. Once he turns the car around and starts driving away, he looks into his rearview mirror and sees the woman in white in the back seat. He screams and slams on the break, going through a “Road Closed” sign, and stopping on a bridge. He screams more, and we see blood splatter onto the windshield and windows.}

{We come back to Dean and Jess at a gas station}

Dean: {Waving some breakfast bars and juice at Sam, who is sitting in the car still, flipping through a box of cassette tapes Dean has.} Hey, you want breakfast?

Sam: No thanks. So how’d you pay for that stuff? You and dad still running credit card scams?

Dean: Yeah well…hunting ain’t exactly a pro-ball career. Besides, all we do is apply, it’s not our fault they send us the cards.

Sam: Yeah and what names did you write on the application this time?

Dean: {Gets back in the car} Uh…Bert Aframian and his son, Hector. Scored two cards out of the deal.

Sam: Sounds about right. I swear man; you gotta update your cassette-tape collection.

Dean: Why?

Sam: Well for one they are cassette tapes, and two— {Pulls out a few cassette tapes} Black Sabbath? Motorhead? Metallica? It’s the greatest hits of mullet rock.

Dean: {Grabs a cassette from Sam and pops it in the player} House rules, Sammy. Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cake hole.

Sam: You know Sammy is a chubby 12 year old. It’s Sam, okay?

Dean: I’m sorry, I can’t hear you. The music’s too loud. {They pull out of the gas station, and cut scene to them passing a sign that says Jericho in 7 miles}

Sam: {Hangs up his cell phone} All right, so there’s no one matching dad at the hospital or morgue, so that’s something, I guess.

{They are approaching the bridge where the accident happened the night before, so there are police cars around the accident.}

Dean: Check it out. {They pull up and Dean pulls out a box of fake IDs. He grabs two.} Let’s go. {They start walking up to the accident.}

Policeman: [Yelling off the bridge to two other policemen coming out of the river below] Did you guys find anything?

Diver policeman: No, nothing!

Policeman investigating the boy’s car: No sign of struggle, no footprints, no fingerprints. Spotless, it’s almost too clean.

Policeman: So this kid Troy, he’s dating your daughter isn’t he?

Policeman investigating the boy’s car: Yeah

Policeman: How’s Amy doing?

Policeman investigating the boy’s car: She’s putting up missing posters downtown.

Dean: You fella’s had another one just like this last month, didn’t ya?

Policeman: Who are you?

Dean: {Flips open a wallet with his fake ID and a US Marshall badge} Federal Marshals.

Policeman: You two are a little young for Marshals, aren’t you?

Dean: Thanks, that’s awfully kind of you. You did have another one just like this correct?

Policeman: Yeah, about a mile up the road. There have been others before that.

Sam: So this victim, you knew him?

Policeman: In a town like this, everybody knows everybody.

Dean: {Starts circling the car} Any connections between the victims besides that they’re all men?

Policemen: No, not so far as we can tell.

Sam: So what’s the theory? {Goes over by Dean, who is standing behind the car}

Policeman: Honestly? We don’t know. Serial murder? Kidnapping ring?

Dean: Well that is exactly the kind of crack police work that I’d expect out of you guys.

{Sam stomps on Dean’s foot.}

Sam: Thank you for your time {Looks around at other policemen} Gentlemen. {He and Dean start walking away, as the policeman watches them leave. Once out of hearing distance, Dean smacks Sam on the back of the head.} Ow! What was that for?

Dean: Why do you have to step on my foot?

Sam: Why do you have to talk to police like that?

Dean: Come on. They don’t really know what’s going on. We’re all alone on this. I mean if we’re gonna find dad we’ve gotta get to the bottom of this thing ourselves.

{Sam clears his throat and nods his head towards the back of dean. Dean turns around and sees the sheriff and two important looking investigators.}

Sheriff: Can I help you boys?

Dean: No sir, we were just leaving. [To the two important looking investigators who are walking past them] Agent Mulder, Agent Scully. {He and Sam continue to their car as the sheriff watches them leave.}

{Cut Scene to the town’s theater, where under the marquee a girl is hanging up posters.}
Dean: I’ll bet you that’s her.

Sam: Yeah.

{They Approaches the girl}

Dean: You must be Amy.

Amy: Yeah.

Dean: Troy told us about you, we’re his uncles. I’m Dean, this is Sammy.

Amy: He never mentioned you to me

Dean: Well that’s Troy, I guess. We’re not around much; we’re up in Modesto.

So we’re looking for him too, and we’re kind of asking around

Girl: {A girl comes up to Amy} Hey, are you okay?

Amy: Yeah

Sam: Do you mind if we ask you a couple questions?

{They all walk away, and the camera shows the “missing” posters Amy was putting up. They wind up in a restaurant, sitting at a booth.}

Amy: I was on the phone with Troy. He was driving home. He said he would call me right back, and he never did.

Sam: He didn’t say anything strange or out of the ordinary?

Amy: No, nothing I can remember.

Sam: {Indicating the star necklace Amy is wearing} I like your necklace.

Amy: {Pulls it all the way out of her shirt and smiles} Troy gave it to me. Mostly to scare my parents with all that devil stuff.

Actually, it means just the opposite. A pentagram is protection against evil, really powerful. I mean, if you believe in that kind of thing.

Dean: Okay, thank you “Unsolved Mysteries”. Here’s the deal ladies--the way Troy disappeared—something’s not right. So if you’ve heard anything…

{Amy and her friend exchange a glance}

Dean: What is it?

Girl: Well, it’s just…with all these guys going missing, people talk.

Sam and Dean: What do they talk about?

Girl: It’s kind of this local legend. This one girl, she got murdered out on Centennial like…decades ago. Well supposedly she’s still out there. She hitchhikes, and whoever picks her up—Well, they disappear forever.

{Sam and Dean exchange glances, and cut scene to Dean on a computer on the “Jericho Herald” web page. In the Search bar Dean types in “Female Murder Hitchhiking”. The page comes back saying, “No results found.” He tries typing in “Female Murder Centennial Highway”, again, “No results found.”}

Sam: {Sticks his hand out to grab the mouse} Let me try.

Dean: {Smacks Sam’s hand} I got it. {Sam pushes Dean’ rolling chair out of the way} Dude. {Rolls back over} You’re such a control freak.

Sam: So angry spirits are born out of violent death, right?

Dean: Yeah

Sam: Maybe it’s not murder. {He types in “Female Suicid e Centennial Highway” and a result comes up.} [Reading from article] This was 1981. Constance Welch, 24 years old; Jumps off Sylvania Bridge, drowns in the river.

Dean: Does it say why she did it?

Sam: Yeah.

Dean: What?

Sam: An hour before they found her, she calls 911. Her two little kids are in the bathtub, she leaves them alone for a minute, she comes back, they aren’t breathing. Both die.

Dean: Hmm

Sam: [Reading an interview with Constance’s husband] “Our baby’s were gone and Constance just couldn’t bear it,” said husband, Joseph Welch.

Dean: {On the computer screen is a picture of policemen at the same bridge that Troy was found on, carrying away Constance’s body in a bag.} That bridge look familiar to you?

{Cut scene to later that night, Sam and Dean have driven to the same bridge, and have left the car and are exploring the bridge}

Dean: So this is where Constance took the swan dive.

Sam: So you think dad would have been here?

Dean: Well he’s chasing the same story and we’re chasing him.

Sam: Okay so now what?

Dean: Now we keep digging till we find him. It might take a while.

Sam: Dean, I told you, I’ve gotta get back by—

Dean: Monday. Right, the interview.

Sam: Yeah.

Dean: Yeah, I forgot. You’re really serious about this aren’t you? You think you’re just gonna become some lawyer? Marry your girl?

Sam: Maybe. Why not?

Dean: Does Jessica know the truth about you? I mean, does she know about the things you’ve done?

Sam: No and she’s not ever going to know.

Dean: Well that’s healthy. You can pretend all you want, Sammy. But sooner or later you’re going to have to face up to who you really are. {Starts walking down bridge}

Sam: {Follows him} Who is that?

Dean: One of us.

Sam: No, I’m not like you. This is not going to be my life.

Dean: Well you’ve got a responsibility.

Sam: To dad and his crusade? If it weren’t for pictures I wouldn’t even know what mom looks like. What difference would it make? Even if we do find the thing that killed her, mom’s gone, and she isn’t coming back.

Dean: {Grabs Sam by the shirt and shoves him up against a rail on the bridge} Don’t talk about her like that. {Dean lets Sam go, and turns around to see a woman in white on the side of the bridge.} Sam.

{Sam turns to see her too, and she looks towards them before she lets go of the rail she was holding on to and falls off the bridge. They both run over to where they saw her drop, but there was no sign of movement in the water, or sound of her going into the water.}

Dean: Where’d she go?

Sam: I don’t know.

{In the background, Dean’s car starts up}

Dean: What the—

Sam: Who’s driving your car?

{Dean reaches into his pocket and pulls out his keys to show that no one could be driving the car. The car starts driving down the bridge towards them. Sam and Dean start running down the bridge.}

Sam: Come on Dean. Let’s go! Go!

{As the car gets closer, Sam and Dean both run towards the side of the bridge and jump off the railing.}

{When we come back from the commercial we see that Sam was able to hold on to the outside of the railing on the bridge. He struggles to pull himself up.}

Sam: [looking down into the water] Dean! Dean!

Dean: {Crawls out of the water below} What?

Sam: Hey, are you all right?

Dean: {Is covered in mud from the river} I’m super.

{Sam laughs, and then cut scene to back on top of the bridge where the car is.}

Sam: Car all right?

Dean: Yeah whatever she did to it, it seems all right now. That Constance chick—What a bitch!

Sam: Well she doesn’t want us digging around, that’s for sure. {He and Dean sit on the hood of the car} So where’s the trail go from here, genius? You smell like a toilet.

{Cut scene to a hotel, where Dean throws down a credit card at the front desk.}

Dean: One room please.

Man at the desk: {Inspects the credit card} You guys having a reunion or something?

Sam: What do you mean?

Man a the desk: That other guy, Bert Aframian. He came in and bought out a room for the whole month.

{Cut scene to the inside of a hotel room, at the door, when it opens, because Sam has opened it from the other side. Once Sam walks inside, we see Dean from the outside get jerked in the room by Sam’s hand. They look around at the messy room. The bed is unmade and there are pictures and newspaper articles covering the wall.}

Sam: Whoa.

{Dean turns on a light, and under the lamp is a half-eaten hamburger. Sam is walking around a table that has a circle of salt around it on the floor.}

Dean: {After sniffing the hamburger} I don’t think he’s been here for a couple days, at least.

Sam: {Picking up the salt} Salt, cats-eye shells. He was worried. Trying to keep something from coming in. {He notices Dean is inspecting an article on the wall} What do you got here?

Dean: Centennial Highway victims. I don’t get it. I mean different men, {Sam starts to walk to the other side of the room} different jobs, ages, ethnicities. There’s always a connection, right? What do these guys have in common?

{Sam’s gaze stops on a paper that says “Woman in White”. He turns on a light to see it better and laughs to himself.}

Sam: Dad figured it out.

Dean: What do you mean?

Sam: He found the same article we did. Constance Welch, she’s a woman in white.

Dean: {Looks around at the pictures on the wall of the men who have been victims} You sly dogs. All right, so if we’re dealing with a woman in white, dad would have found the corpse and destroyed it.

Sam: She might have another weakness.

Dean: No, dad would want to make sure, he’d dig her up. Does it say where she’s buried?

Sam: No, not that I can tell. If I were dad though, I’d go ask her husband. If he’s still alive.

Dean: All right, why don’t you see if you can find an address. I’m gonna get cleaned up.

Sam: Hey Dean--What I said earlier, about mom and dad, I’m sorry.

Dean: {Holds hand up to stop him from going further} No chick flick moments.

Sam: All right, jerk.

Dean: Bitch.

{Sam laughs as Dean leaves the room. Sam then goes over to the dresser, where there is a picture on the mirror, of Dean and Sam when they were younger, with their father. A little later Sam is checking his voicemail on his cell phone.}

Jess: Hey, it’s me. It’s about 10:20…{The rest is inaudible, as Dean comes out of the bathroom, much cleaner.}

Dean: Hey man, I’m starving. I’m gonna grab a little something to eat at that diner down the street. You want anything?

Sam: No.

Dean: Aframian’s buying. {He walks out of the hotel room and begins to walk to his car, when he looks down the parking lot and sees two cops talking to the man who was at the hotel check in desk. He cannot hear what they are saying, but the check-in man points towards him, so Dean pulls out his cell phone to call Sam. At the same time, Sam is just finishing his voicemail from Jess.}

Jess: So come home soon, okay? I love you.

{Sam’s phone beeps to indicate an incoming call, so he clicks over to the other line.}

Sam: What?

Dean: Dude, five-o take off.

Sam: What about you?

Dean: Uh, they kind of spotted me. Go find dad. {Dean hangs up and turns to face the two policemen who have reached him.} Problem officers.

Policeman: Where’s your partner?

Dean: Partner? What—What partner?

{One policeman signals to the other to go check the hotel room. From inside the hotel room, Sam can see the policeman coming up to the door, so he starts to escape.}

Policeman: So. Fake US Marshal, fake credit cards. You got anything that’s real?

Dean: My boobs.

{The cops shove him down onto the hood of the police car}

Policeman: You have the right to remain silent.

{We come back to Dean sitting in an office in the police station}

Policeman: So you want to give us your real name?

Dean: I told you, it’s Nugent. Ted Nugent.

Policeman: I’m not sure you realize just how much trouble you’re in here.

Dean: We talking like misdemeanor kind of trouble? Or uh…”squeal like a pig” kind of trouble?

Policeman: You got the faces of ten missing persons taped to your wall. Along with a whole lot of satanic mumbo jumbo. Boy, you are officially a suspect.

Dean: That makes sense. Cause when the first one went missing in ’82, I was three.

Policeman: I know you got partners; one of them’s an older guy. Maybe he started the whole thing. So tell me…Dean. {Reaches into a box on his desk and pulls out a journal} Is this his? {Dean stares at the journal} I thought that might be your name. See, I leafed through this, what little I could make out. I mean, it’s nine kinds of crazy. But I found this, too. {The policeman opens the journal to a page that says “Dean 35-111”} Now, you’re staying right here till you tell me exactly what the hell that means. {Dean continues to stare at the journal}

{Cut scene to Sam knocking on a door. A man opens the door.}

Sam: Hi uh, are you Joseph Welch?

Joseph Welch: Yeah

{Cut scene to Mr. Welch and Sam walking outside Mr. Welch’s yard. Mr. Welch is looking at the picture Sam had found on the dresser mirror in the hotel room. We suspect Sam has asked him to ID his father.}

Joseph Welch: Yeah, he was older, but that’s him. He came by three or four days ago. Said he was a reporter.

Sam: That’s right. We’re working on a story together.

Joseph Welch: Well I don’t know what the hell kind of story you’re working on. The questions he asked me.

Sam: About your late wife Constance?

Joseph Welch: He asked me where she was buried.

Sam: And where is that again?

Joseph Welch: What, I got to go through these twice?

Sam: It’s fact checking. If you don’t mind.

Joseph Welch: In a plot behind my old place over on Breckenridge.

Sam: Why did you move?

Joseph Welch: I’m not gonna live in the house where my children died.

Sam: Mr. Welch, did you ever marry again?

Joseph Welch: No way. Constance, she was the love of my life. Prettiest woman I ever known.

Sam: So you had a happy marriage?

Joseph Welch: {Hesitates briefly} Definitely.

Sam: Well that should do it. Thanks for your time. {Starts to walk back towards the car, but then turns back towards Mr. Welch.} Mr. Welch, you ever hear of a woman in white?

Joseph Welch: A what?

Sam: A woman in white, or sometimes a weeping woman. It’s a ghost story. Well it’s more of a phenomenon really. Um, they’re spirits. They’ve been sited for hundreds of years. Dozens of places; in Hawaii and Mexico. Lately in Arizona and Indiana. All these are different women, you understand. But all share the same story.

Joseph Welch: Boy I don’t care much for nonsense.

Sam: You see, when they were alive, their husbands were unfaithful to them. And these women, basically suffering from temporary insanity, murdered their children. Then once they realized what they had done, they took their own lives. So now their spirits are cursed. Walking back roads, waterways, and if they find an unfaithful man, they kill him, and that man is never seen again.

Joseph Welch: You think--You think that has something to do with Constance? You smartass.

Sam: You tell me

Joseph Welch: I mean maybe—maybe I made some mistakes, but no matter what I did, Constance would never would have killed her own children. Now you get the hell out of here, and you don’t come back.

{Back in the police office}

Dean: I don’t know how many times I gotta tell you. It’s my high-school locker combo.

Policeman: Are we gonna do this all night long?

Policeman 2: {Pokes his head in the office} We just got a 911, shots fired over at Whiteford Road.

Policeman: [to Dean] Do you have to go to the bathroom?

Dean: No.

Policeman: Good. {Handcuffs one of Dean’s arms to the table.}

{Dean sees the paper clip sticking out of his dad’s journal, pulls it out and picks the handcuff lock. He escapes from the station by climbing out the window onto the fire escape-- with his dad’s journal. Meanwhile, Sam is driving around when his cell phone rings. He answers it.}

Dean: {From a phone booth} Fake 911 phone call Sammy? I don’t know, that’s pretty illegal.

Sam: You’re welcome.

Dean: Listen, we gotta talk

Sam: Tell me about it. So the husband was unfaithful, we are dealing with a woman in white. She’s buried behind her old house. So that should have been dad’s next stop.

Dean: Sammy would you shut up for a second.

Sam: I just can’t figure out why he hasn’t destroyed the corpse yet.

Dean: Well that’s what I’m trying to tell you. He’s gone. Dad left Jericho.

Sam: What? How do you know?

Dean: I’ve got his journal.

Sam: He doesn’t go anywhere without that.

Dean: Yeah, well he did this time.

Sam: What’s it say?

Dean: Same old ex-marine crap when he wants to let us know where he’s going.

Sam: Coordinates. Where to?

Dean: I’m not sure yet.

Sam: I don’t understand, I mean what could be so important that dad would just skip out in the middle of a job? Dean, what the hell is going on? Whoa! {Sam drops his cell phone and slams on the breaks to avoid a woman in white in front of the car.}

Dean: Sam? Sam!

Constance: {In the backseat of the car} Take me home.

{Sam jerks to look in the rearview mirror.}

Constance
: Take me home.

Sam: No.

{The doors lock and Sam tries to unlock them to escape. The car is put in gear and the gas pedal is pressed in. He tries to control the steering wheel but Constance is controlling it, so he lets go and tries to push the door out. Constance’s image flickers in the back seat as the car pulls up to the house at the end of Breckenridge Road. The car shuts off even though the doors are still locked.}

Sam: Don’t do this.

Constance
: I can never go home.

Sam: You’re scared to go home. {He turns back to view her face to face, but she’s gone. He looks around for her, and sees her when his gaze comes back to the passenger seat. She jumps on top of him and pushes him down on the seat.}

Constance
: Hold me. I’m so cold.

Sam: You can’t kill me. I’m not unfaithful. I’ve never been.

Constance
: You will be. Just hold me. {She starts kissing Sam as he tries to reach for the car keys, which are still in the ignition. Constance turns into more of a monster than a pretty lady, and disappears, until her claws start trying to reach through Sam’s chest. Sam screams and rips open his jacket and we can see five finger holes going through his shirt. Finally gunshots come through the window, as Dean is on the other side shooting the monster. Dean’s gunshots are distracting enough for Sam to turn the engine over, and put the car into gear.}

Sam: I’m taking you home. {Floors it, going through the wall of the house.}

Dean: Sam! {Dean runs into the crashed open house, gun at ready.} Sam! You okay?

Sam: I think.

Dean: Can you move?

Sam: Yeah. Help me.

{Dean reaches for Sam to help pull him out, as Constance picks up a picture of her and her children, that was lying on the floor. Meanwhile, Dean has helped Sam out of the car, and they are now standing in front of it. Constance throws the picture on the ground, and steps aside, controlling the dresser she had been standing in front of (with her mind, of course), to go forward and pin Dean and Sam against the hood of the car. They both struggle to try to push it away. The lights flicker on, and Constance turns around to see the stairs leaking water. She looks to the top of the stairs and sees her two children standing there. Her children join hands.}

Constance
’s children: You’ve come home to us mommy.

{Sam and Dean watch as suddenly Constance’s children are behind her. They grab her, and she screams as she and her children melt into a sort of puddle on the ground. Finally Sam and Dean are able to push the dresser off of them. They walk over to the small puddle on the ground.}

Dean: So this is where she drowned her kids.

Sam: That’s why she could never go home. She was too scared to face them.

Dean: You found her weak spot. Nice work Sammy.

Sam: {Starts laughing} I wish I could say the same for you. What were you thinking shooting Casper in the face, you freak?

Dean: Hey, saved your ass. I’ll tell you another thing. If you screwed up my car, I’ll kill you. {Starts to move wood from the wall off the car.}

{Cut scene to Dean and Sam driving down the road. The car has one headlight out. Sam is looking on the map to find where “35-11” is.}

Sam: Okay here’s where dad went. It’s called Blackwater Ridge, Colorado.

Dean: Sounds charming. How far?

Sam: About 600 miles.

Dean: If we shag ass we can make it by morning.

Sam: Dean, um…

Dean: You’re not going.

Sam: The interview’s in 10 hours, I gotta be there.

Dean: Yeah. Yeah, whatever. I’ll take you home.

{Cut scene to Dean pulling up to Sam’s apartment. Sam grabs his bag and gets out of the car.}

Sam: You’ll call me if you find him?

{Dean nods}

Sam: Maybe I can meet up with you later, huh?

Dean: Yeah, all right.

{Sam starts to walk towards the apartment.}

Dean: Sam. {Sam turns around.} You know we made a hell of a team back there.

Sam: Yeah.

{Dean drives away slowly, then cut scene to inside Sam’s apartment. He opens the front door, comes in}

Sam: Jess! You home? {He walks through the kitchen. On the counter is a plate of chocolate chip cookies, with a note in front of them that says, “Missed you! Love you!” He takes a cookie, and eats it as he walks in the bedroom. He hears the shower running, so he sits on the bed, closes his eyes to relax, and falls backwards onto the pillow. One drop of something red drips on his forehead, which makes him squeeze his eyes shut tighter, then a couple more red dots. He opens his eyes and gasps, seeing Jess on the ceiling.} No! {Jess bursts into flames, and Dean kicks in the door.}

Dean: Sam!

Sam: Jess!

{Sam is still on the bed as Dean walks in the bedroom to get him out of the apartment.}

Dean: Sam!

Jess: No! No!

Dean: {Grabs Sam off the bed and tries to run him out of the room.} We gotta get out of here.

Sam: Jess! No!

{The room erupts into fire and then cut scene to outside where firemen have arrived. They have extinguished the fire. Dean walks down the street a little ways where Sam is over by Dean’s car, loading a rifle by the trunk of the car. Dean and Sam look at each other for a moment and Sam sighs and nods his head. He throws the loaded rifle into the trunk.}

Sam: We got work to do. {Shuts the trunk, we see it from the inside so the screen turns black.}
