Because it's the last ngày of 2016, I've decided to dedicate an bài viết to a special someone who meant a lot to me, and for everyone else: Carrie Fisher.
Like everyone else, I was pretty damn (Sorry about that.) shocked when I heard about Carrie Fisher's death. I was talking to my friend on Google+ when he informed about her death. I knew that she had a tim, trái tim attack about a week before she died, but I didn't expect this.

Without any further a due, let's being!

ngôi sao Wars is my một giây yêu thích franchise of all time. Not only is it a big part of my childhood, but also a big part of my life.
While I didn't grew up watching the original trilogy, I do respect the entire ngôi sao Wars franchise, as whole. Later, I did manage to watch the original trilogy, and I have to say, I was very impressed. One of my yêu thích characters in the phim chiếu rạp was of course Princess Leia.

Carrie Fisher was still a teenager when she was cast as Princess Leia, and George Lucas gets a lot of mileage, especially early in the trilogy, out of the contrast between Leia’s youthful, sweet appearance and her sharp tongue and forceful manner. Leia is a post-feminist sort of princess, equally comfortable firing a blaster hoặc piloting a ship as she is conducting a medal ceremony. Toward the end of the trilogy, we also learn that Leia has the potential to become a Jedi, just like Luke. Leia is a Senator, a princess, and a leader of the Rebel Alliance, and her devotion to duty and to the cause of freedom is one of her defining characteristics. This devotion prevents Leia from acknowledging to Han her growing tình yêu for him, and it even prevents her from admitting it to herself. Leia tells Han that he is needed as a leader and a pilot, but never that she needs him herself. Han, of course, tries to goad an admission out of her, but his efforts only cause her to bottle up her feelings even more, though she does make some efforts to inspire jealousy in Han bởi kissing Luke (Before she learns that they are brother and sister.). Leia finally tells Han that she loves him, just when it is almost too late and he is about to be Nữ hoàng băng giá alive.

Leia takes part in the rescue of Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, freeing him from the carbon freeze, only to be taken captive herself bởi Jabba. Up to this point in the trilogy, Leia has dressed modestly, favoring practical, functional clothing over anything fancy. Now, however, she is forced bởi Jabba to don a revealing harem outfit, complete with vàng bikini, and to wear a chain around her neck. Leia’s reaction to the situation is thoroughly in character and reveals the way her character smashes the adventure-fantasy stereotypes about sexy princesses. In the confusion caused bởi Luke’s surprise attack, Leia hops behind Jabba, loops the chain around his massive neck, and strangles him to death. Leia then helps Luke destroy Jabba’s barge before escaping with the others. The scene is a perfect summation of the kind of reversal of expectations typical of Leia throughout the trilogy.

One of the things I loved about Carrie Fisher the most was her "poetic honesty".
Sometimes, I like going to Audible.com and listen to samples of famous actors with iconic voices reading; particularly because I tình yêu the sound of their voices. Every time I listen to them reading, it feels like I'm getting smarter and thêm understanding towards them. They are celebrities, but they're still people.

When I listened to Carrie Fisher's samples of her đọc her own books, I was surprised to hear the voice of Angela from Family Guy. bạn see, up until that point, I didn't know that Carrie Fisher also played Peter Griffin's boss. I was surprised, to say the least.

My yêu thích sách written bởi Carrie herself are: "The Princess Diarist"; "Wishful Drinking"; and "Shockaholic."

In "The Princess Diarist", Carrie is talking about her role as Princess Leia; where she would've been without ngôi sao Wars; about how it changed her life.
A very interesting thing I remember was when she đã đưa ý kiến "Am I Princess Leia, hoặc is Princess Leia me?" Which, like I said, I find very fascinating. Everyone is a người hâm mộ of something, and there's always a character whom we admire, who is portrayed bởi an actor, who the những người hâm mộ also admire for breathing life into the character. However, a good performance isn't just a good a performance; a lot of things to into it, like: the writing, lighting, music, camera work, etc. But the actors are the ones who gave the characters...well...character. However, many actors do start off as just some ngẫu nhiên actor before they're cast in the role that will shape who they are. Is the actor making the character, hoặc is the character making the actor?

In "Wishful Drinking", Carrie is talking about how, in her youth, she tried to fit in with everyone else, but she always stuck out, and her parents were always known to stick out, and how she found herself sticking out with them. She doesn't ask for people to feel pity for her, but rather, she wants to describe her former life to us, so we can understand her more. It reminds me a lot when I described my life and myself to others in my "Getting to know Renegade1765 (Updated Version).". I didn't write that bài viết and describe how miserable I was during that time so I may gain sympathy from people, but because my original "Getting to know..." bài viết (Which turned 2 years old.) was rather disappointing.

An interesting part that Carrie wrote/read was when she was talking about how she barely saw her father in real life, but saw her a lot on TV. She talks about how hard it is to understand this incomprehensible world of ours.

And in "Shockaholic", she talks about how hard her life was. About how she has to accept and tình yêu others, before she can truly tình yêu herself.
In an interesting part of the book, Carrie is talking about how surprised she was when she was told that she needs to have shock therapy.

Another thing that I loved about Carrie Fisher was that she was proud of her mental illness; hoặc rather, her being proud about being different from other people. She was a woman who wasn't afraid to speak her mind to people, even if what she was talking about might scare people.
Let me tell you, I can relate...
Back in January of 2015, I argued with my mother about my solitude. Later, at night, my parents came and started talking about how my solitude was unhealthy; that my laptop was like a drug and that I should stop using it; that I should make Những người bạn with others, not just online. The problem was that I didn't know how! Back then, I barely had any friends; we only talked during school...which was a hell hole (Sorry about that.). Nearly everyone was a complete and utter moron with no sense of empathy, and the girls were bunch of annoying, unsympathetic bimbos.
Another reason why I was so introverted was because I had problems with my emotions, so I always tried to hold them back when I was around other people, because I was afraid of being judged wrongly hoặc hurt them.
My father even đã đưa ý kiến that I need a psychiatrist.
After he left, my mother stayed trang chủ and I told her why I'm so introverted and what was happening. I told her about my crush on Elsa from Nữ hoàng băng giá because how much I related to her. I told her about the Những người bạn I made online. I told about my hobby of nghề viết văn articles. She was judgemental at first, but over time she became much thêm acceptable about my interests.

Back in November of this year, I started going to a psychiatrist, after I accidentally told my mother that I wanted to kill myself for receiving bad grades at school for exams in Romanian and Psychiatry. I worked so hard and even put my very tim, trái tim and soul into them, but I still flunked. Luckily, I had better grades before those, so I passed the semester - but I still couldn't help but feel mortified beyond belief.
I remember I told my best friend on Hangouts that I wanted to kill myself. I didn't talk to him after that, not because I was so depressed after my grades, but because my tablet wasn't working right. He was desperately trying to get an answer out of me. I remember feeling awful after telling him that and then not respond to him. He was in so much shock, I felt like I made the biggest mistake of my life.

The psychiatrist herself is very nice, and I feel an toàn, két an toàn that I could express my problems in front of someone who could understand me and not think of me as a freak.

The reason I told this story is because I relate a lot to Carrie. In fact, during the making of this article, I realize how similar we actually are.

Even though I didn't grew up with the original ngôi sao Wars trilogy, I have nothing but respect towards them. I respect the effort that was put into them. I respect the impact they made on the media. I respect the actors who owe their career to this series. I even respect George Lucas himself for bringing his vision to life.

On December 27th, we Mất tích a wonderful, daring, inspiring, and admirable woman, and a great friend. Shame she wasn't a friend of mine, too. I would've loved to have conversations with her.

Rest in peace, Carrie Fisher. Princess, advocate, and beacon of strength for the world. May the Force always be with you.

In the trước đó part of this story, the tìm kiếm for Harrod began. It didn't last that long though.

Jott: *With Barkley, he points at something in the snow*

It was Harrod.

Jott: MAJOR!!
John: *Hears Jott, and walks towards him*
Morris: *Follows John*

They arrived. Thomas, and Christianson made it too. Then, they saw Harrod, laying in the snow on his back.

An Imperial Landing Craft was flying through a planet covered in snow, 18 inches thick. It passed over a mountain, and increased speed.
