Now that Ernest Borgnine (Mermaid Man) is dead, what will they do?
Would they replace the character's voice? Will they kill Mermaid Man? What do bạn think?

Vocal actors are quite easily replaced, and since they're not on screen they don't need an exact duplicate!
The same thing happened when Grandpa Pickles' vocal actor died on Rugrats. They just replaced him!

joe alaskey took over on "grandpa louis pickles'when david doyle died..since 1997 to 2008 it has stil sounded like him..i dont think he sounded different..and someone once told me they had machines to use ernests voice and put it in new episodes...

Mermaid man and Barnacle boy weren't in a lot of episodes to begin with, so while they figure out the plot for the tiếp theo episode they are in, they could find a replacement. I don't think it seems logical that they would kill mermaid man on the show, since it's a children's show..

Anyway, maybe they'll get a new voice actor and modify his voice. They should have đã đưa ý kiến he died on the Spongebob website! I had no clue! I hope they don't change how Mermaid-Man acts, I liked the version when Earnest was still alive.
