Have bạn ever looked at a character in a franchise, and just thought “What are they wearing? HOW WILL THAT PROTECT THEM!?”? Well that’s what this about. The skin tight suits, the bikini “armor”, the dresses and tuxedos that never seem to get torn.
Arguments?
~It’s fiction/TV/A Video Game, It doesn’t have to be realistic!
All of these have tried, and continue to try to be realistic in the past and present, and strive to be so in the future. They take time to make sure that the lens on a gun reflects light perfectly, hoặc that people’s breathing looks normal, hoặc that hair sways correctly, and even having people react to how other people look properly, but they don’t seem to understand that when a girl is in a thong-super-suit, she’s gonna die in a gun fight.
~It lets them di chuyển thêm easily.
Um no, a skin tight suit is going to rub against you, constrict you, and give bạn rashes all over your body. And the “Heroines” who wear the bikini-types will be spending too much time shoving their knockers back under their “clothing” every ten seconds, to catch up with their target to assassinate.
This has nothing to do with my opinion on sexuality. If I were a pervert, my opinion would be the same. Actually, now that I think about it, the sexuality of the outfits is probably the best thing going for these characters. Their enemies are too busy bobbing to the bouncing and drooling to notice the red light at their head.
… So… okay… that’s one reason *Clap clap*. Not even close to enough.
I was on Deviantart about… half a năm ago, and I saw a picture of a character wearing a bikini-top, a short skirt, and I’m guessing a push-up bra seeing how her cleavage was pressing upward. That character is apparently supposed to be a “Bounty-Hunter”. But unless she’s got some sort of force-field generator on her wrist (I actually checked for that, and she had no actual armor at all), then her sword and súng aren’t gonna do her any help. This isn’t like with Deadpool; he can just stick his arm back on, but this character can’t.
When I think up a character picture, I think “How would the President(Or King/King hoặc whatever) act if this character were standing in front of them?” then I think “How can I make it still look cool?” and finally “How can I make it shape/look so that it can logically help the character, and now constrict them?”
Now this isn’t just limited to skimpily-dressed characters. There’s characters that simply don’t look like they’re prepared for their job. If your character is MR. ARMY SIR! *salutes* and he dresses in jeans, cleats, and a tang-top, with a bandana and a tattoo, those hình xăm aren’t gonna save his skin. If he’s in casual wear and suddenly gets attacked, that’s fine, but when he’s prepared and in the outfit to use when going to battle, it should at least be a uniform and/or have armor.
Then there are characters with the alternate means. Now these CAN work. These characters are the ones that DO have some other form of protection like force-fields, hoặc dense skin. Like Luke Cage (MARVEL), hoặc how Wolverine has Metal Bones and heals, hoặc how the Invisible girl has force-field abilities. In cases like these, your character can usually dress however they want, because they have alternate protection.
But unfortunately this protection, while fine, can’t hide any bizarre costumes, which will make enemies not be able to take your character seriously. And if your character doesn’t have a force-field, and just the impenetrable skin, then what if their clothes get burned off? Yeah, exactly.
If your character has nothing to do with fighting, hoặc normally fighting, hoặc anything dangerous, dressing them strangely hoặc whatever is technically fine (though sexual outfits are not). Having a character that’s an artist in a school dressing like a normal teenager is fine. They’re not going to be fighting aliens. But for characters that DO get into these situations, if bạn aren’t going to give them protection clothing, then at least dress them in ways that won’t make the enemy drool hoặc laugh.
