If they do, they need to make a better story line. The whole route thing kinda got annoying pretty fast. Also I would like to see more guns and maybe better level design.

Odds are they won't. A boy can dream, but what knew can they really introduce into Shadow the Hedgehog 2 if they ever made one? May be something like Jak 3, but that has already been used in Jak 3 and Shaodw The Hedgehog 1. Point out something that would make sense for SEGA to do to Shadow The Hedgehog, and I'll probably switch to believeing.

@NoctusLynx Because a lot of people want it, so it would sell great if people hold true to their word. Also, rather than the route system in the first game, they could make it a role-playing game like KotOR or Mass Effect, and you could talk to different people, allow them to join your party (You could have your members be controlled by yourself, AI, or a second player), work through varying missions depending on your dialogue choices, level up, unlock new weapons and abilities as you rank up and find Chaos Emeralds, and determine the fate of Mobius from 10 VERY different endings, ranging from actually destroying the planet to saving every inhabitant. The particular outcomes could be far greater, as your party members will respond to your choices as fits their personality. Your powers will increase in strength depending on the path you take, such as Chaos Blast being far easier to use and more devastating if you take the darker dialogue options.
