Medical involves spending time with the patient.... I would rather slice and dice because I often end up saying something dumb

as J.D said the surgeons are like the jocks in high school.

Surgical is much better because you don't have to know as much as medical. You don't have to pronounce things gliposicosomi and videoviosincapead and you can still keep in touch with your patiants.

I think medical would be better for me b/c I pass out at the sight of blood. Either way I admire anyone who is any type of medical profession.

Well then don't go in the ER department if you pass out at the sight of blood, lol.

I think surgeons DON'T have to do rectal exams (thank The Lord).

But surgeons do have to say just as long words when they're cutting, and waiting to cut, the procedures have long names (and funny if you include "wipple")

They have to name what they're cutting while they're cutting, like "inferior vena cava" just like medical doctors have to say words like Tukosubocardiomyopathy and Necrotisingfasceites (which I can say but have trouble spelling it)

Can you please add "paramedical" (or whatever the correct term is) because that's my career path and I want to see how many other people would choose paramedic over doctor and surgeon.

Unless of course this is just to decide between surgical and medical and you don't want to add any others, but if you are ok with adding more I have a few suggestions

-Paramedical (if that's a real word)
-Psychiatrical
-Nursing
