All I have to say is that many actor/tresses were good, Vanessa and Nicole ruined it for me. They're just too...pop-y for me. This is what I think about Vanessa (Mimi): She wasn't terrible, but her 'Mimi' and vocals missed a certain edge, although it does help to move her beyond her squeaky clean Disney image.
As for Nicole...just no. She's just not Maureen...
