Well I haven't heard of larry per se but I have heard of the Ace attorney games. I might try them out.
I am pretty sure it's hard. I find it is hard to find icons of alot of awesome characters.

Hmm maybe I'll follow suit and watch the gameplays. And yea. ._. If the characters aren't EXTREMELY popular it's hard to find icons. Hell even characters that are extremely popular. I find it is very hard to find REALLY good street fighter icons.

^Yep. I edit icons from various sources and I also make some adjustments in photoshop. I get my icons anyway I can get them honestly.
I got this icon from livejournal. EVERYONE was raving about it but I have yet to see the anime she's in. XD

^OH MY GOD. I love Tenzin. One of my favs characters in korra. XDD I love his reaction there.

1.I sometimes add some effects to them like lighting and hues and whatnot in photoshop.
2.Normally cut them out of a picture.
3.screenshot them myself.
4.I may use other people's bases and go throw my own spin on it.
I think I will start putting text on my icons as well.
But to put it simple I normally just play it by ear.
