Please tell me if this boy likes me hoặc not!

Ok well I'm 12 years old, live in Australia and just started high school 2 weeks ago. (don't think I'm a baby hoặc anything ok 'cos im not) Well the thing is that when i started high school this guy whos in most of my classes kept staring at me and flashing me slow and small smiles when nobody else was looking. (except my Những người bạn secretly noticed too apparently) but he seemed too shy... he looks kinda weird i have to admit (he's tall and has curly red hair that goes down to his shoulders but it's kinda cute in a way) and a really nice face and all. and then yesterday was this swimming carnival and from start to finish we began talking a LOT. now we know each others fave shows, fave jokes, wether we're good at swimming hoặc not and p l e n t y of things. (my friend and his friend were chatting too) and when i ran out of water he showed me where the tap was and totally blushed when i smiled at him! he even says me eyes r pretty and asked me if i have ever considered being a model (which i have, and i will one day). I knew he liked me from then... at least i thought. apparently afterwards his friend told my friend that this guy only likes me as a pal. I was totally devo when my friend told me, particularly cos i really thought this guy liked me! I just want to see all ur các câu trả lời and decide which one is must be. Does he really like me hoặc was it all a play so he could take out my tim, trái tim and stomp on it? Please answer. Thnx. xox.
