Go on a nerd-ramble of something bạn know a lot about / find very interesting and have researched about. Lets see if we can learn anything today

Also for the sake of education and for possible lazy people, if bạn are willing to, TLDR the most interesting points XD

Okay, so this is probably a topic that would bore most people to tears but I seem to be prone to finding the theories, facts and records regarding evolution and it's functions intriguing. Alright, everybody knows that evolution, at this point in time is regarded as a theory, giving some the preconceived notion that it's likely bull. A concept being a theory though could merely mean that the idea cannot be fully, scientifically, one-hundred percent proven beyond a shadow of a doubt with a concise pattern, perhaps due to a lack of knowledge hoặc discovery hoặc maybe existing key fundaments that can't be comprehended bởi the human brain. Theory hoặc not, I've come to discover that there are inarguably several facts and scientific studies that strongly support it's legitimacy. Take it back 4.5 billion years ago, about one-third the theorized age of the universe, and the majority of Earth was at this point just unpopulated, lifeless rocks floating through space. Pieces of earth began compressing into one and with an approximate 15 million years of time it's formation was nearly complete. Earth being initially much too hot for organisms to thrive on, it was 500 million years later that plate tectonics made continents, impact degassing created oceans and organisms and life began to form, thus starting the evolution process. It just makes nothing but perfect sense to me, evolution, also known bởi the term 'natural selection'. It occurs with anything related to nature and plays the function of enhancing hoặc improving lifeforms and the addition of tying up loose ends as far as species are concerned. Any progression hoặc phenomenon that occurs in nature, be it caused bởi climate change hoặc the structure of the thực phẩm chain, that's evolution at work. Slight mutations developing with each generation as to adapt to habitat, yeah that's evolution at work. It's the blessing that was bestowed upon us all that allowed us people to go from hairy australopithecus afarensis monkey people to modern humans. Some evolution can be directly caused from the actions of lifeforms, such as humans breeding wild Người sói into chó hoặc breeding wild mèo into domestic cats, which in turn can possibly create a new chain of evolution. Whereas certain evolution can be distantly correlated with the actions of lifeforms. One prime example of evolution's work would be the five mass extinctions. Now, these extinctions weren't ngẫu nhiên and certainly weren't bởi accident. Nah, evolution's got something in store for e'rybody. A mass extinction is classified as an occurrence where at least %50 of all of Earth's species become extinct in a very short period of time. Ok this shit is just too cool. The first mass extinction occurred around 444 million years ago, just a blip of time in the universes existence, and the latest one going back 66 million years cách đây with it averaging out to about 94.5 million years between each mass extinction. The human race has yet to see a mass extinction for ourselves, not even close

Our ancestors didn't even evolve into homo-erectus until approximately 3.5 million years ago, a whole 62.5 million years after the latest mass extinction. ̶L̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶w̶e̶'̶d̶ ̶a̶c̶t̶u̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶u̶r̶v̶i̶v̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶m̶a̶s̶s̶ ̶e̶x̶t̶i̶n̶c̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶X̶D̶.̶ As a matter of fact our existence as homo-sapiens accounts for only a mere %0.2 of Earth's existence alone. Feeling small yet? Getting back to what I was saying, any extinction can likely be caused bởi either a species' lack of adaptable traits hoặc bởi a species reaching hoặc surpassing their evolutionary potential. In other words, those Khủng long got too big for their breeches. So long, jerkwads! Additionally, in order for some certain species to continue thriving and evolving, another species must be taken out of the picture. Conclusively, mass extinctions do play a huge role in the process of evolution, as the simultaneous removal of most of the worlds species is basically nature's way of clearing the playing field, allowing 'rookie' species thêm access to resources and thêm of the opportunity to diversify, such is the nature of natural selection.... Man, I don't even know why I find this shit so cool, maybe it brings me close to my roots, hoặc some corny crap like that. Any way bạn slice it though, the evolutionary process is essentially closely tied with.... ThE CiRcLe oF LiFe
