Tbh, as heartless as this sounds, atleast homeless people in the U.S don't starve and can get a highschool education. Plus, many homeless people in the U.S buy booze, drugs, among other crap instead of saving up for a house. I'm not saying all, but too many for comfort. Many get so depressed over their situation that they get into the habit of drugs and drinking because they want to escape it all. They do it again, again, and again until they practically kill themselves over it instead of picking themselves up.
The realestate agents need to get money, so the can't simply give their houses if they can't get a penny out of it. It's how society works. Everyone works to get money, so their children hoặc themselves can lead a fulfilling life with no worries, a happy one. These houses are owned bởi many different agents, all working.
Hope your friend gets a home! Support her so she doesn't get depressed and fall into a regretable cycle that happens when no one supports you.
