I'm in a situation...

bạn want to be a Christian goth, yet you're insulted bởi your parents for being a goth.

If bạn WANT to be a goth, bạn shouldn't be INSULTED hoặc ASHAMED for being called a goth. It's what bạn want right? Don't be ashamed when your parents call bạn goth. Say "Thank you! You've noticed~." hoặc something like that. Become what bạn want, and see if bạn really do want to be a Christian goth because it's a lifestyle that appeals to you, not because bạn want to be one.

All I can say is, be you. If that bạn is Goth, then I don't see the problem. If you're Christian that's great that bạn believe in God. People are just judgemental and stupid and always will be wherever bạn go so all bạn can do is try to ignore them.

Nobody can't order bạn how to look like-neither your parents.Christian goths are cool & if bạn want to be one of them bạn have to be strong enough to stand up to your parents and everyone else..Just don't give a f*ck about what anyone says.

I think bạn should talk to the calmly, like an adult. Explain why bạn think this way and hiển thị them examples of other Christian Goths. Try to be really good in the days before bạn do this, though. Try cleaning and doing chores without being asked to, and be really nice (not that bạn aren't already).

Argue with them. Tell them how going goth isn't going to change your tình yêu for God and Jesus, and that it is just a lifestyle that a lot of good people do just because it made them feel unique.

Then, after the talk, do the walk. yeah my parents are overprotective too, i have no fb..well anyway i think bạn should be true to yourself and tell your parents no matter how crazy they think bạn are. bạn have to let them know that, that is who i am and what i love. They have to understand that and be supportive to you, rather than making fun of you. Be true to yourself no matter what ANYONE thinks. Hope this helps!

I think that's really great. I want to be the same thing, so I understand what bạn mean. Also, if your parents are "ashamed" of you, they obviously do not support you. They should be able to support bạn in anything. (except for like being a rapist hoặc something...). So just tell the truth to your parents, and remember, God will be with you.
