How do I get my pictures off my cell phone ?

it may be a stupid câu hỏi but i have a lg verizon phone its just like a regular little phone with a bit of texting no internet hoặc anything like that but ive never really had các bức ảnh that i could try and get off but now i do i tryed hooking the cord and stuff to my comp and nothing happens .can someone help me out please?
