How Can Someone Tell If You're Lying?

Ok, this is just some B.S. a teacher once told me, but I'll explain it the way he did to me. The eyes. When bạn ask someone a question, bạn can tell if they're being truthful bởi their eyes... If they keep looking to their left, they're telling the truth, to the right, and they're lying. This is why... Our brain normally works on a left to right timeline of start to finish. Well in America at least hoặc any place you'd normally read left to right. So looking to the left is like looking to the past. To the right is like looking to the future. The past is known, the future is not. So if bạn look to the left bạn are generally trying to find the truth, like trying to turn back the pages of your mind. To the right, your trying to write something in a blank page, hoặc creating a lie... Like I said, Just some B.S. an old teacher of mine gave me. Take it hoặc leave it... Whatever.

But, once I had the horrible lie, and I was laughing at nothing. I even tripped over my foot.

Well, bạn can tell bởi there pupils, if they change, then the person is lying, but that's not always completely accurate.
Another way is their tim, trái tim rate, if they lie then their tim, trái tim rate goes up, if they tell the truth it stays the same.

Well when I lie I try to do something to make it where I don't need to look at them. If I look at them I laugh so that's how they know. But what I do is lie to myself. Like if someone says "Did bạn do this?" I'll be like "no" and whisper to myself not today atleast

Most of the time no but sometimes yes. I mean can bạn tell if I'm lying about lying. XD

Your pupils dilate when bạn are lying. They also do this when bạn see something pleasing though. Other things are nervousness, over explaining things, not being descriptive enough, and possible stuttering. Although, all of these things except the dilation can be prevented.
