How do bạn xóa songs off an iPod?

I just got an iPod nano, the newest model. The problem is, its used. And I hate hoặc have never heard of like all the songs on there. How do I xóa them?? Please help!

btw I HAVE NO IDEA WHOS ipod IT IS. I didn't download them, so I don't know HOW the fuck I'm supposed to uncheck them!

From the iTunes menu, it should say the tiêu đề of your iPod (___'s iPod most likely.) Click on that and a bunch of status elements should hiển thị up, including a button that says "restore". When bạn press that, it returns the iPod to its standard settings and all of the old âm nhạc will be gone and it will sync to your iTunes. It can take a while, but it's the safest way to do it.
